Well, your video turned out to be the best one on the net. I was trying the clothespin method but your tape method worked much better. Thanks for the great explanation. I’ll do mine tomorrow!

I struggled so hard to get the Wilwood rear brakes to fit on my 67, then I finally realized that the axles were too long for it. I ended up returning the brake set to Summit and getting the same kit with the Moser axles from Reilly and that totally solved it. So much for believing Summit when they say a part will fit my car ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How would one who live in UK find a barn find charger like this to start his own project?
@CH6R8GR2 жыл бұрын
If you have Facebook, there are many Charger groups & some overseas for sale are posted on there. Otherwise tell people about your interest and maybe find one closer than you think.

How do you like this QA1 kit? I’m getting ready to do my 68’ charger and I’m trying to get reviews, some people say don’t do it because these tubular k members are weak and they flex. Any thoughts? My engine is a 528 all Alluminum blown hemi with a 6 speed t56. Thanks
@CH6R8GR2 жыл бұрын
I do think an added lift support between the tubular center sections of the the k member would have be nice. May have someone add a lift plate there just for peace of mind. Otherwise it’s nice quality, I just swapped some hardware out they provided.

Thanks Bryce, I just got my kit from QA1 and I ordered the same wilwood brake kit as you but I got red calipers and slotted rotors. Wilwood said this kit works on stock drum spindles but I don’t want to use those, where did you get yours? Thanks
@CH6R8GR2 жыл бұрын
@@Markhoward7777 I actually used the stock drum spindle with my wilwood kit. You can replace the lower ball joint from Moog. Definitely check which wilwood kit you have, they can be specific to drum or disc spindle

the gap between the rear valance corner piece and rear quarter panel was not suppose to be bondo'd over; suppose to be seam sealed so that the light line can still be present
@CH6R8GR2 жыл бұрын
The corner cap seam was filled, the car isn’t perfect as far as body lines go.
