We own the currently used dolorosa. The dolorosa you saw in tinago is the first image our family used for the procession around 80 years ago but that dolorosa has only half of its body therefore no legs so our family asked someone to make another dolorosa with an entire body because when people want to touch our saint's feet there would be none on the first dolorosa. Basically we own both dolorosas but the one in tinago is only about ten years older than the one being used currently on the processions.

i hv one too, i videoshoot near the church, but the procession stops a lot and it might become 20 mins. in video length. tnx for the suggestion, i'll try it next year.

nope, it was really a replica of the original Madre Dolorosa, I saw both :) see above explanation,

Yes, I joined the procession last year 2011 holy wednesday, and i was surprised that there was the Dolorosa placed in 12th station (near tinago). But still, it looks very identical, only a bit smaller. (impressive replication!) :)

I see, pretty interesting. I think I should have a vacation there on next year's holy week... The last holy week I spent was in Paete, Laguna and to my surprise their Santo Entierro has been there for roughly 500 years... That's what the old folks said when we interviewed them.. I'm a photographer and I love shooting vintage stuffs.. Maybe I would catch you there next year hahaha.... Would love to visit my home town again.... :)

poons means the santos, :) u didnt understand me, hehehe, the names of the saints i mentioned were the new ones, (e.g. sta. maria salome, ma. dela soledad, snr. pacencia, etc.) all the santos (e.g. sn pedro, sn juan, etc.) were the original and very old santos. :)

d santo sepultado here in Ligao. I think it's vry old, coz my dad said whn he s a bit younger, he used 2 join the santo sepultado procession, The Birhen de la Soledad ws new, it ws joined for 3or 4 years now. The La Tercera Caida s a vntage poon, evrsince I ws little its already used in d procession,

Had asked my aunt, the Sepultado, has already been brought somewhere in Caloocan, I don't have any glimpse of idea what did they do to the vintage image, going back to Guilid, I am so scared of the Sepultado there when I was a kid my dad used to bring me there for a vacation. :) are those images vintage as well? How about the Madre de la soledad, la tercera caida and the famous santo sepultado? let me take a wild guess, hmmm more than a hundred years old? hahaha

where is the Santo Entierro of ur grandma placed? all I know the Santo Entierro which joins the Good Friday procession was placed in Guilid... tnx,

Yeap, and i think the Tercera Caida has a little chapel, but it's not open to public, but everytime I walk across the chapel, I always take a peek, maybe I can see it even it's not a holy week, :) thanks for watching....GBU

The La Tercera Caida and the Dolorosa are next to each other and the Santo Entierro is just near like a 2 minute walk

My grandmom from Tinago owns a Santo Entierro.... I'm not sure if that is the same Santo Sepultado you guys include for that procession.
