Magical, and the grandest acoustic bass player on the planet. When it comes to upright bass players, there's SC and then everybody else. No question he's the GOAT, and always a joy to hear and watch him perform. Imagine this, he's playing a full-sized acoustic bass like it's a toy. Incredible, whereas when the day comes, his bass should be donated to The Smithsonian Institute for historical significance, for there is, was, and always will be only one SC.

Pat metheny really is a god. I also gotta respect coming up in jazz and gaining so much fame. People realize he’s that good even in what is now not such a popular genre. He pretty much saved jazz. Herbie hancock just hittin his chords like “wtf am I witnessing rn”
