Great lap! Car doesn't seem to have the weird high speed dive the 991 had. Hope that's the case once I get to test it out!

High speed handling is much nicer. low speed is nothing insane like the old car, maybe makes it a bit more balanced overall (hopefully)

How are you getting 326+ on the straights?? I'm testing for the Majors 24H of LeMans and with qualifying mode on, 1.5 laps of fuel and a cold night track I'm hitting a wall on my first flying laps at 312kph. It just won't go any faster.

More iRating gives more grip. Or grip hacks but I doubt blatant cheating. It’s a well known thing that higher iRating delivers more grip. Also depending on ur previous season iRacing gives you more or less grip to keep you playing and therefore paying them. They need to make money, so they make you successful when you are about to have a break
@jansonb482 Жыл бұрын
@@LucaTgaard thats completely nonsense that Irating gives you more grip.
@oulu841 Жыл бұрын
Move brake bias more to the front and be more careful when braking. Also if you shift down really fast while braking, try shifting slower, if you shift too fast your rears are gonna lock up and you will spin, if you shift just the right amount you will be golden, if you shift too slow you will not make the corner.

The footage is giving the impression that the front is gripping more than the rear in mid cornering
@jinglesmcgee72562 жыл бұрын
my guess is that's intentional. If you can control rotation and the rear tires aren't heating up too much, a bit of oversteer is desirable with the slip angle. Chris is at the top of his field. I think he knows how to set up the kart. You see the same thing in sim racing: Pro drivers use loose setups that would kill most people in turn 1 because they are very difficult to control but they yield the most benefit from a fast driver would can drive on the knife's edge lap after lap after lap. Chris is one of the top iRacing drivers too so he likely uses very hard to control setups with low downforce and potential for oversteer
