Tout le monde fait la même erreur ...le v6 Maserati n'a été que sur la SM de 70 à 75 ..les v6 90° suivant étaient soit en 12 ou 24 soupapes venant de PRV peugeot renault volvo et à partir de 98 c'est c'est un P.R peugeot renault a 60°

Desde chile un fuerte abrazo, el mio es un xantia sx año 2000, lo tengo desde el 2017 (4 de octubre) la verdad es muy complicado aca los mecanicos no ven ese tipo de auto dicen ser muy complicados. Pero es mi orgullo ya que yo mismo lo reparo cuando se daña algo.

I don't know about twin turbos but I have seen people putting a single turbo kit on this engine and pushing some amazing power. From what I have read: With a stock engine, stock internals the safe horsepower target is around 320-330hp, even 350hp with methanol injection. But with forged parts they can go to 500+ hp. Then it's the transmission that gives up as the gears just get destroyed because of all the torque. Fun fact, the Nissan 300ZX uses the same bore as the ES9J4 and it has forged pistons from factory, they fit in this engine!

Yes, the ES9J4. The engine has just some slight modifications like a stainless steel exhaust and K&N pod filter + cold air intake. But even completely stock this engine can do 250+ km/h when the road is long enough!

@@MiletaStijovic_ActivaV6 ES9J4 is my favorite engine among other French engines. It has everything a petrolhead needs! Sound, power, torque, reliability and performance! I live in Iran. My father owns a Xantia 2.0 16V (XU10J4R) with 132 PS & 180 NM. When I drive his car, it seems fast enough for me! I can't even imagine what an ES9 feels like when XU10 is already quick! Here in Iran, Nissan Maxima 3.0 V6 owners (A33 generation) think their cars are much faster than a V6 Xantia or a V6 406 but they are wrong! I have lots of European car magazines that include road tests of Xantia & 406 with ES9J4 engine. For example, in most German magazines I have, these cars have achieved 7.4 - 7.6 s 0-100 km/h which is faster than the best time recorded by Maxima (8.0 s 0-100 km/h). What's interesting is that the Nissan weighs 100 kg less than the Xantia! The gap is even wider when we compare both cars from 0-200 km/h or 100-200 km/h! ES9 was such a great engine that even the famous French supercar manufacturer Venturi used a modified version of it in 400 GT model!
