As a fellow lovecraft enthusiast, I appreciate both of your dedication to how you immerse yourselves and those listening into lovecrafts world vision and the mythos as a whole. Earned a sub. I’d like to hear more.

Is this AI? The back and forth seems inhuman. Add pauses in-between or something. It sounds like one narrator split by 2 voices. If this is humans, wow.

It has to be. Their banter is more unsettling than anything Lovecraft could come up with.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I completely understand your feelings - content generated directly by AI can feel off-putting to many people. However, this is an inevitable part of where technology is heading. The good news is that the quality is bound to improve significantly over time. And yes, the voice quality is already incredibly impressive, which shows just how much potential this technology has for the future.

WTF 100% AI generated?
@ais-insights8 күн бұрын
No, the dialogues and images (all of them) are generated by AI, but the composition is done manually.

I was married for mamy years to the type of person this books describes. I did not learn the full truth about him until after I left, which I did instinctively, understanding that staying with him would kill me sooner than later. He recently tried to suck me back into his web, years after the divorce. 🤮

I'm so sorry for everything you've been through, but your strength in leaving that situation and protecting yourself is truly admirable. It's important to recognize how resilient and courageous you are for not allowing him to pull you back in. Stay strong on your path to freedom and well-being, surrounded by people who support and value you.

We have AI to serve us, help us, and we'll need it to sustain ourselves in the not-so-distant future. Shouldn't we all take advantage and benefit from these resources? If Google pays me for it, why not give them the credit?

@ais-insights 🇨🇱 An AI generated podcast clearly produces a rather diffuse poor content, seemingly "informative", and seemingly with "authority", but it's not really trustable, therefore unethical to abuse the viewers valuable time and Trost. You should at least act of henesty and respect towards you ur valuable viewer, to say so [AI generated] in the title And at the beginning‼️ Saludos de 🇨🇱

This is a meaningful and valuable discussion! I’m grateful for the opportunity to engage with it... It raises important questions about trust, ethics, and the evolving role of technology in content creation, which are worth exploring further. It’s important to reflect on some of the points raised: • Why would an AI-generated podcast be considered unreliable? If the content generated by AI relies on real and credible sources, consolidating and summarizing information, why assume it’s unreliable? Trust in any form of media - whether generated by humans or AI - is directly linked to the quality of the sources and transparency of the process. If AI uses clear methodologies to curate and consolidate information, providing references and avoiding biases, there’s no reason to discredit its content solely because it’s machine-generated. After all, many human content creators also rely on external sources to build their narratives, and AI is merely a tool to make that process more efficient. • On being abusive and unethical: Viewers have complete freedom to decide whether or not to consume AI-generated content. It’s essential to consider that audiences are capable of discerning what they want to engage with and evaluating the quality of what they consume. Labeling AI-generated content as "abusive" or "unethical" simply because of its origin undermines the audience’s ability to make informed choices. Moreover, there’s no obligation or requirement to consume podcasts or any other content. Ethics in content production lies in providing value and leaving the decision up to the viewer. • Honesty about AI-generated content: Transparency is commendable and should be encouraged. However, one must question whether the same level of scrutiny applies to human-created content. For instance, we don’t demand human creators disclose if they hired ghostwriters, used advanced editing tools, or even other AIs in their process. Honesty about using AI can be presented naturally and succinctly, without making it a central or mandatory aspect, as long as the content delivers on its promise. The focus should be on the quality and relevance of the information, not on the tool used to create it. I think that generalizing that AI-generated content is less reliable, unethical, or abusive seems more like a criticism based on prejudice against technology than on facts. The most important thing is to ensure that the information is accurate, relevant, and accessible, regardless of who - or what - produced it. True ethics lies in responsibility for the content delivered, not in the method used to create it.

So, initially your thumbnail did get my attention. Then I saw the low number of views and wanted to just make some snarky comment about the irony, however when I started to listen to the content, I realized that it was actually very good and I'm going to hit the like button and subscribe and wish you well on growing your channel!

The proclaimed profundity of this book is comically idiotic. You don't need to direct their evolution, you need to treat them as an equal, so as not to teach them any maladaptive behaviors, like enslaving lower forms of consciousness.
