Better than the original studio recording, which I wouldn't have thought possible. Jon Lord was so talented, and a nice Man too.

So, seeming like DP was a way to make quick $$$…he has more to him than DP, which is great!!
I have a lot of catching up to do on Jon Lord's solo career. I have Sarabande and loved it tremendously. He can play more than just his own stuff, just seeing him play behind the scences was really nice. Super smart and funny.

Simply magnificent! All the musicians are having great fun playing this piece, which blends all instruments seamlessly while letting each one have its own moment in the sunshine. The genius work of a generous and wide-ranging composer.

Die LP Sarabande habe ich seit 1976, und habe nie den Gefallen daran verloren, aber so ist es wohl immer bei wirklich guter Musik. Weiß vielleicht jemand wer die anderen Musiker sind die hier mitspielen?

What a privilege to live in a time when we can enjoy the great music of Jon Lord. Rest in Peace, dear Jon, and thank you for all you did for us. May your legacy be kept forever and may you walk between our musical geniuses from Johann Sebastian Bach to modern times.

He was a wizard of harmonies, rhythm and sound: normal musicians fight against complex structures, he has an attraction to it, he had a gift to simply integrate Bach-Style, some Haydn ideas, rock rifs. I think he didn’t have to think about it to long, otherwise he wouldn’t have had the time being so productive. Thanks Lord that your borrowed us Jon Lord on earth ❤

What a wonderful piece of music, well in the tradition of the Concerto for Group and Orchestra. For sure, Jon Lord was one of the keyboard grands in 1970ies rock music, along with Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman.

Jon Lord sempre sonhou com algo assim. Deu um passo nesse sentido em Concerto for group and orchestra (dec.

That is such a mastery of 500 years of music, and the best of all, most of musicians were smiling throughout. What a masterpiece!
