This may be the dumbest radio show / whatever the hell this is I’ve ever heard in my life. Between the hosts and the caller this was mentally depleting and I’m always surprised how well Norm can tolerate these settings.

Well you have to think about, the things Norm is living by is competely contray to what the hosts live for, which it entertainemt. They are professional entertainers and when they are not doing over radio or on camera, they are enterainting themselves at home, so of course they are dumbfounded. Despite the thoughts you are capable of having in your own head, it may be impossible for others to be introspective in the same way.

In the context of the current media, you need to be smarter than you did in the 90's. Essentially trump was to dumb to be elected pre social media and his election is an anomoly to normal human common sense.
