You sound really good! Can I ask where you got that transcription or if you maybe transcribed it yourself?

Did Ravel actually named the Concerto "G Major'"? Apart from the beginning, this is not very used... The 2nd mov. is a bit E major
@hugobouma2 ай бұрын
It was either that or calling it the Both-Hands Concerto 🙃

its a pretty standard naming convention i think

@7:00 the modulation to E major and the subsequent _molto dolce sempre_ passage (with the syncopated, doubly layered "oom-oom-pa-pa" piano accompaniment, and the soaring, infinitely tender longnote triplet pattern high above from the clarinet) , with the _Tranquillo_ coda (a simple chord progression with simple extensions/leading tones, but the texture... O the texture...) is one of the most sublime passages in all of music.

I think this is the 🐐 of music, especially mvt. 2!
Bruh who thinks of using a sustained F to create that progression at 1:14…I’m in awe…

Bravo! Bravo! Karl Leister I recall when I was in Cleveland Institute of Music (I didnt finish but I have a great respect for musicians and their music now) I SO VERY MUCH appreciate the sheet music being laid out simultaneously. Thank you!!! Just beautiful.

This concerto shows very well why Ravel is one of the most import composers of the 20th century.
