It actually is! Can't belive how much more functional I find my Lidar Pro now! Before it felt too bulky, now it's very manageable! Thanks for watching 🤩

Thanks for the comment. Your wish is my command 😁 Anything you're specifically wondering about? I'll see if I can make that my next video after I've figured out my audio solution, which I'm in a deep rabbit hole of right now 😅 I think I found a local place to 3D print a solution for my Deity PR-2 and Shotgun microphone, which I'll hopefully get to check out tomorrow!

I sold my 6K G2 because of the lack of AF, but curious how you find the dji focus pro?

Hey! Tbh, I still prefer manual focusing, but that's mainly because of the Focus Pro requiring you to add so much bulk onto the camera that slows me down. The focus pro is great other than that, even beating my experience with canon cameras at times. There's two Autofocus modes: one where you turn the wheel in the back to adjust your focus between different subjects, and one which you can use the wheel to take over manual focus when ever you want. I would love a mode in between these two, where you had a button for subject switching and still be able to use the wheel to take over with manual focus, as when the subject tracking fails, you need to tap the screen to adjust focus. Hopefully you sold your g2 for other reasons than AF too, like the need of a swivel screen or need of stabilizarion, as the camera is too good to skip on just for the fact of Autofocus IMO 😁 If that's the case, I really recommend you to get a Focus Pro!

Funny thing.. Last week I also start to think about a combo of these two.. Thought about this Lumix as B-Cam especially because of the autofocus.. thinking about the blackmagic videoassist for braw and as a bigger display.. Still working on that thought :D cool to see you video now

Great to hear. Seems like a great combo! Especially if you sometimes need to do some photos! There's a rumor going that Lumix will announce something next week (probably just an update or something), but chance of a new camera? 😁

I have s5ii, video assist 12g 7" for BRAW and BMCC6k. you might as well put a 5" VA on that lumix because once you look at the BM camera screen, the Lumix will look tiny

Haha 😂 Thanks for the suggestion, and I've really considered it, but I always find myself selling external recorders within a short time after purchasing, as it takes a long while to boot and needs it's own power source, as well as the record button is all of a sudden moved. I will be pairing with a 7" monitor however, but it being slim and not too power hungry is two big factors for me as I have shoots that goes for 13-14 hours. I'm using the Portkeys Lh7p today and it seems to work out great!

@@videografenNO Ouch I just looked it up and your monitor consumes 9 watts at 8.6 oz while my video assist consumes 36 watts at 29 oz. yours is 4 times lighter and 4 times less power. crazy. I wonder if the BRAW is really worth it in this case.

I really love BRAW, and wish it was built in for an additional cost. I'm really gonna miss it, but it does indeed cost a lot of extra brain power to get it working, in addition the file sizes becomes greater size. Ed Prosser have done a great video on BRAW on Lumix s5 iix.

I want to say you're downgrading, but the truth is that the Lumix fits you so much better with where you're at. The downgrade is only a slight one and it's with image quality. Your quality of life is immensely better with the s5iix and that's on run-and-gun shoots like weddings.
@videografenNO
@videografenNO 25 күн бұрын
Yeah, I do agree. But the downgrade is so small that all the extra perks makes it worth it for me (especially this year). Overall the Lumix really cuts well with the BMCC6KFF, so if you're suddenly also in need of a photo camera, I'd highly suggest it as a B-cam! The blackmagic is an amazing camera, and I've been using both the 4k, 6k pro and the 6kff for weddings as well and that's not the main reason to do a switch for me. Thanks for watching 🤩

Great to see a Norwegian starting to use these lenses! The look is incredible, love character and imperfections. I have the same BMCC camera, still sitting in the boat wondering if I should invest in Remus or Cato, I do like both 😅 Would love to see your DJI focus rig with this camera

@@AL3XFPV I really do like the combo of the Remus and 6kff, I'm just hoping they'll update the firmware to allow all the stretch options that's given in the Pyxis! 🤩 Settling on lenses is a tough choice and you're the only one who can do it! 😅 I know people say 2x is true anamorphic, but me personally prefer the Remus over any 2x I've ever seen, by a mile (or, 1.6 km since I'm Norwegian) 😅 I'm actually more curious if they are releasing more of their 1.33 stretch which looks like 1.5. Easier to deliver in 1x1 formats then 😅
