good video, be good to see the birch-bark. I had a painting passed down to me thats made out of complete birch-bark,pretty amazing. i wouldn't worry about the technicalities of the clips..brass tacks is good. if you havent got rid of the new alpha chicken yet could always make a great Sunday dinner.(texas humor)

The end results look very nice but I don't find the video helpful at all, let alone being a tutorial. First of all, your hand is covering up your drawing most of the time and doesn't show what it is that you are doing. Second, you sped up the video. When you're trying to illustrate how to do something (aka creating a tutorial), how is it helpful speeding it up? Lemme show you how to disassemble your car engine under 20 seconds. If you are trying to teach someone how to disassemble your car engine, that 20 seconds of sped up video will not provide any useful information at all. It will only shows that YOU know how to take apart the engine.

Most of the video we could only see the tops of your hands

Thank you so much. The voice over is great. Example you explaining to make the center ones larger for the cylindrical effect. Would not have caught that just watching the video. Total beginner and this was fantastic. I look forward to more tutorials.

How do you take good pictures of your ink drawings? When I take mine it looks vastly diffferent
@JonBaldockInkDrawingsАй бұрын
I have them scanned at the highest resolution as a JPeg file at a local print shop. Costs cdn$2.50 per drawing.

How to clean them if we didn’t use for along time?
@JonBaldockInkDrawingsАй бұрын
Occasionally, draw a few lines every 3 days to get the dry ink out and flow. Draw lines over a paper towel because it pulls the ink.

This is one of my favorite ink drawings. Adding color seems to cover the fine details and highlights that first attracted me to it. But that may just be my opinion as one who is not a fan of watercolor.

It was more of an experiment. I've rarely ever done this before. I didn't want to perminatly ruin the original if when I messed up or didn't like the result.
