I've watched many of your videos. How does the LGB compare to the ES-175?
@eTangoIsrael
@eTangoIsrael Ай бұрын
ES-175 is bigger and heavier. The neck is much fatter too. The sound of ES-175 is more crisp and less "lyrical" I'd say.

@@eTangoIsrael Thank you. I owned a blonde 175 around 1970. I have an Eastman 371 and I don't think many could hear the difference. It is 5 lbs.

Have been thinking of purchasing this model. I have mostly played 17" with 25.5 scales. They are too much for me now at 77. This one appears to be very comfortable to play and sounds nice. I'll have to pull the trigger after I sell my 1991 Golden Eagle. Great guitar but too big. Which set of Thom's are you using? Nice playing.

Finger-style guitar gigs should be performed in a lounge where there is a listening audience. Not in a pub or bar where there's little or no connection. Just my opinion. A great performance as always.

Real nice. Very very nice playing. Didn't watch it live but watching it now. Other than it being in the hands, which it is, can you mention your signal path, and string guage. I want a Maton like tha tbut already know I can't play a Tommy gugae (12s). Regardless, fantastic playing and sound.

@@cwsgershwin thank you. Strings are Martin SP ph/b 0.12. The Maton goes thru AER to DI. Fender goes thru Spark to AER/line in - to DI. Acoustic mic off.

Was it worth the price after time with it? Is the neck profile medium C or thin C?
