It never crossed my mind once. I worn unitards and had to go, all I felt was a click ticking to free myself from bondage in order not soil myself. I just hope you wore those clean room foot covers while in there. Every dancer should have some, just for this occasion. But I’m sure they don’t. Also every dance studio should have those mats the are placed at the entrance of ever clean room to passively remove dirt on the bottom of shoes entering in them!

Did the wider shoe cause you to slide down at all? Or are your feet strong enough for that to not be an issue? It would still be an issue for me… I’m afraid in a wider shoe, I wouldn’t be held as tall in the shoe and that my toes would take the brunt.

Hahaha!! 😂 so funny people wonder about that! For me, the issue would be getting myself unstitched after dancing. I get leg cramps, especially after a big workout and when I’m sore after a workout it is hard enough to take my shoes off and change …much less have the coordination to pull stitches, especially since my eyesight can be pretty bad at the end of a long day and I may not be able to see the stitches or bring my sore legs up into position so I can access the stitches! 😂😂
