My biggest problem with this conversation is the implication that Christianity has a consistent morality. Christians who share nations can't even agree on what is and isn't moral. Then of course you can say that the God knew all the babies and youngsters, all those millions of creatures, that He supposedly created, were too flawed to be allowed life any longer, but: Could the God have made all those human and animal lives to be perfect from the get go, since He requires perfection from all? Could he have made them flawed on purpose? Made humans, all the animals, with so called bad “Free Will” so that the God could exterminate them all? Could the God have instead, created them flawed, just forgiven them all, before the Big Flood, knowing that He was solely responsible for creating them the way that they were? He forgave all Sins later on with Jesus’ coming, with certain rules of course, but why not the first time? Oh, right, right! “ Mysterious Ways!”

@@JesusKingPodcast Where is the anger coming from? From all the atrocities committed on the name of this god belief that is justified many horrible things in the past and present. Lying to people about the Bible being the word of a god, fear mongering abuse, especially of children, with nonsensical claims of Hell and murderous Floods, Demons, misogyny, etc., have led to a lot of understandable confusion, unhappiness, hatred to non Christians and a lot of loophole excuses for continued bad behaviour and even child abuse that is excused by leaders of Church, especially for other Church leaders, allowing it to continue. I don’t like people or whole institutions that lie and control others with false, unproven claims. Do we need to give these scammers another millenium to prove their claim? It is time to live in reality, without superstition, without the undemonstrated supernatural, without the claims that we need to just believe based on Hope rather than things we can demonstrate to show they really exist. I don’t like these Charlatans continuing to pull the wool over the eyes of so many gullible, indoctrinated people. It’s bad for everyone to base their life off of fantasy. It’s the 21st century and people need to think more logically, scientifically and rationally, especially when Authoritarianism is raising its ugly hateful and controlling head again. Religion is actually about control of the masses, not anyone’s salvation. How they got people to fall for the story of, “ you’ll get your reward after you’re dead, we promise, but first, you must obey our commands and demands and give yourself over to the Church hierarchy and do as the old men see fit.”

@shmick6079
@shmick6079 19 сағат бұрын
@@JesusKingPodcast anyone who cites “atheism” as an answer to such questions doesn’t understand the subject. These people often mistakenly perceive atheism to be a moral code or even a religion, because they can’t comprehend the idea that a person cannot believe in *something*. The beginning of life or the source of moral codes etc is of no consequence nor relevance to atheism in itself. Atheism isn’t even a choice, you can’t choose whether you’re convinced of something being true. Perhaps concepts like secular humanism are more relevant to the discussion, but such concepts aren’t directly related to atheism.

Wow, there’s a lot here that just doesn’t stack up when you check actual history and how science really works: 1. Atheism vs. Marxism/Communism: Atheism literally just means “not believing in gods.” It doesn’t automatically link to Marxist theory or communism. People have been skeptical about deities for millennia-long before Karl Marx. Some communist regimes are officially atheist, but that’s about their politics, not some universal rule for all atheists. 2. Nazi Germany Wasn’t Atheist: Hitler and other Nazis frequently invoked God and “Providence.” Their propaganda often referenced Christian ideas (twisted as they were) to rally people. The Holocaust didn’t come from atheism; it came from racist, nationalist, and anti-Semitic ideology. Reducing WWII to “atheists killing people” is a serious distortion of history. Most Nazi soldiers were Christian. 3. Morality Without God: It’s just not true that “no God means no morals.” Plenty of secular and humanist thinkers argue for compassion, empathy, and human rights-without relying on a deity. Philosophies like utilitarianism, Kantian ethics, or virtue ethics show that moral principles aren’t unique to religious frameworks. 4. Scientific “Theories” Are More Than Guesses: When scientists say “theory,” they mean a well-backed explanation (think Germ Theory, Gravity, etc.). Evolution and the Big Bang aren’t random guesses; they’re supported by reams of evidence-from DNA analysis to cosmic background radiation. They weren’t cooked up to “kill God”; they came from observing the natural world. 5. Christianity Didn’t Invent All Science: Sure, the church funded universities and many early scientists were Christian, but that’s not the whole story. There’s a rich history of scientific achievement in Islamic, Chinese, Indian, and other cultures, often carried out without any Christian involvement. Acting like only Christianity pushed human knowledge forward ignores these major contributions. Honestly, it feels like the video takes complex historical events (Nazism, communism, the development of science) and mashes them together to blame atheism for everything. That approach just isn’t credible. Disagreeing with atheism is fine, but we shouldn’t rewrite history or misrepresent science to make a point.

hi a lot to unpack: religion, morality and politics can be all connected. we cannot justify our own morals just because it sound good to us or we are currently content with it, Hitler hated the christian values because it focused on meekness and love, he preferred Islam instead. Hitler was forcing the German churches to exclude the old testament to develop a hatred towards the Jewish people. as for the Atheism looks into theories that observe the natural world, well when it comes to studying the past, Atheism rests on a world view that excludes God.
