Can you explain the merit of doing it in this software vs something like blender? I will be learning CATIA for work soon, but blender for this type of modeling has incredible integrated hot keys and you can easily make your "real model" over something like a concept like this. I see this is an attempt to replicated basic poly modeling like a 3D software, but I feel like an advantage here is it can be directly utilized with precise dimensions in CATIA? (I am talking specifically about 3D shape and not ICEM)

Hi, How remove Fillets in ICEM Surf?

Hi @darsi111, First of all, thanks for your question and for your interest in ICEM Surf. Removing a geometry consists in launching the "Delete" function. Then you have 2 levels of selection for fillets: 1- You can pick 1 by 1 all surface/patches/faces you need to remove and then click "OK" in the selection table. These are the Atom level selection. By the way, this is the default selection way because the selection filers for Surfaces/patches/Face are set by default in ICEM Surf for Deletion function. 2- You can use the Molecule level selection filters, under keyboard shortcut (f) for molecule surfaces. This will help to pick 1 fillet in 1 shot which is a faster way. Hoping that helps Sylvain

Perfect,as a grasshopper user,I think it is very helpful. Although grasshopper with plugins can do the same use experience. Catia GGR can be better in some function.🤩🤩😘😘

I use a Graphic Tablet here, a Wacom Cintiq and the application is compatible to work with any graphic tablet device that you are able to connect on your workstation or laptop! You can also use your mouse to trace the curves

I see only a few improvements, apparently there are still essential tools missing, I also don't get the point of having the local mesh visualization if you cannot see what you are doing. It would be time to enhance some modeling and UI capability.
