Wow what skill! Quick question….. How do you keep your clay from sticking/warming up in your hands??!
@MyVianАй бұрын
Thank you! I am choosing brands ( fimo, cernit, sculpey) and firmer types of clay( fimo professional for example is firm). Altough warm room temperature also may impact this. Also everybody has different hands, so you need to find what works specifically for you 🧡

Glad to have found your video today. Im making a Christmas hat and wanted to make a custom button with poinsettias and leaves and maybe rosebuds. I can apply the techniques. Thank you for showing that you don't need a bunch of expensive tools! 🎄♥

They are beautiful. Does the clay just stick to itself or do u need to wet it?
@MyVianАй бұрын
Thank you! When pressing gently, the clay sticks to itself ☺️

Those are absolutely gorgeous! You must have worked very hard to hone your skills. 😊❤ I just started sculpting recently, so my creations look pretty rough right now, and I've felt a little discouraged. 😅 But seeing your work gives me inspiration to keep practicing! 😄
@MyVianАй бұрын
Thank you! Wishing you lot of fun with your new hobby! First creations are always a bit rough, it improves fast with practice 🙏 but make sure you work with the right clay, choose harder types. They are maybe more difficult to condition but the sculpting is more precise. For example we mostly work with Fimo professional. For the slab base, on the other side, it is better to choose softer clay, because it is just a large flat piece with no details.

@MyVian You're very welcome. :) Thank you for the advice, I'll try that out!

beautiful. no ne can do it so well. its not easy at all
@MyVianАй бұрын
Thank you! Sure this requires some practice but more important is to have the right clay. It is much more difficult to make it with the softer types, we mostly work with the harder types- like Fimo professional, exactly for this reason
