Surely SOMEONE can show off their smarts and 'come to the rescue' and identify this remote, people free, scenic, paved road adjacent, southern California -- ?Malibu vicinity? ?Ventura County? -- beach. This helicopter captured aerial view, in pre-drone days, shows us The Immortal / Christopher George's character, Ben Richards, walking along a surfers-free and beachgoers-free Surfrider Beach and past Malibu Pier with an enviously, lightly-trafficked Pacific Coast Highway. Unfortunately -- or fortunately depending on how one approaches its effectiveness for story purposes -- the footage has an intentionally bleached-out look.
