Your channel optimization is not perfect. some issues with your channel like not adding SEO-friendly titles, video tags, descriptions too short, not add channel tags, and video end screen. In this village I lived all my years I went to school. So I am very familiar wIth everything you show in your video, and I just want to add some information: On the stones of the war memorial you find a lot of family names whose decendents still live in Stenum like Backenköhler. The Landküche is a catering service that serves for example kindergarden and school canteens. The flag at the entrance is that of Lower Saxony, the Bundesland or state Stenum is in. The white horse on red background is the court of arms of Niedersachsen. Above the door of that farm house from Anno 1792 it says in German "Whoever has trusted in God, has well built in heaven and on earth. And whoever builts on this rock, will not perish". Fun to see that the wood carver had some issues with the N. Those straw roofs, actually it is reet, are very expensive, as the reet has to be imported, reet roofers are very rare, and fire insurance for them is costly. The Big Stone refers to the leftovers of a megalithic tomb complex from around 3000 B.C. I hope you still have fond memories of that little village in Oldenburg County. And that Lisa has fully recovered from her surgery and is doing well.

Wonderful comments, and thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with a history of which we were not aware. We loved Stenum, and the care Lisa received was world class, as was her surgeon, Dr. Ritter-Lang. In fact, this was the second time we were in Stenum, as I myself had a five level disc replacement surgery at the very same orthopedic hospital in January 2017, by none other than Dr. Karsten Ritter-Lang. We loved Germany - we can not speak the language, but with machine translation on mobile phones, it is possible to bridge the gap of understanding. We love scenery, the natural beauty, the architectural finesse, and the design. We both owe our quality of life to Dr. Karsten Ritter-Lang. The man is a genius. Lisa is now 95% recovered in less than 6 months and virtually pain-free after many years of debilitating pain as the result of two car accidents about 25 years ago. Again, thank you for your kind comments and thoughtfulness.

The place does at certain times of the year will have extreme weather just like many desert cities (Very warm, Very cold, Very Windy). However, it is VERY affordable as far as real estate and it has been developing. It's only about 30 minutes away from a progressively developmental "Victorville". I'm no realtor but I have friends that now live out there due to wanting their own "big lot" property with some elbow room and space to feel more "do what you want to do with your own American Dream property" There are empty LARGE lot sizes ranging from 5 acres to 50 acres that you can start a homestead. There is water service that can be brought out to you for VERY CHEAP. Power can be solar and generator. You can add a septic tank and have septic service every so many years. It's a very cool area in my opinion, however it's not for everyone.

That road is for the miners. It's a different road. Definitely winding, but that's not it. And live here. It's 30ish miles to Barstow. And just 20 minutes to Big Bear depending on traffic. At 247 restaurants it's where 3 hwys meet together.
