I've seen this show several times and heard about it for decades, but not until now do I know what the name meant! I'm watching the 1959 original with Sandra Dee for the first time and it's girl and midget combined to make Gidget. Never knew that nor really thought about it until a few minutes ago.

This is a fun song to learn.

I have a cousin named Gidget she's over 50 they said her mother loved this show so much she named her gidget

i do remember the Stooges back in the 80s.. i don't think i play it.. i was more of a lurker as a kid.. had a tight budget of a couple bucks.. so had to pace myself.. remember when arcade games went from 0.25 to 0.50? you really had to weigh the pros and cons for whatever game you played...
