Bob, I never "swallowed my words" about the uselessness of speaker isolation. Why would you say such a thing? The waterfalls you posted clearly show that the speaker and / or measuring microphone were not in the same place for both measurements. Further, your claim that large changes are impossible at very low frequencies due to the long wavelengths is just wrong. As proved in this article, moving the mic even a few inches can make a substantial change (3 dB) in the very lowest octave: ethanwiner.com/believe.html
