Fassinating how your tutorial series seams to be the only source for this type of widget on texture on the internet haha! Thank you very much for doing so. I also have a question, on my widget i have a button, but when i implement the widget on my texture, the mouse hit events seams to not work any more. Have you tried this type of interaction? Since i can't find nothing about it on the internet in genral i quite lost on how to make it work.
@renderraj6 күн бұрын
Hi, I have not tried to make the widget interactive. I am not sure how to go about it but I am sure there is a way for that to work.
@GBOY_FAST19 күн бұрын
I've followed your instructions up to this point, When the camera moves away after playing, the animated text is split, is there any way to fix this? Is this a problem with anti-aliasing?
@renderraj19 күн бұрын
Yes that could be anti-aliasing. Try changing the AA from the Project Settings and see if it helps.

This is great but I ran into problem. If I want to interact with the widget's elements, i.e. buttons, it won't work. It only receives the input to the big widget showing in the blueprint viewport that you hide below. The widget on the mesh won't react with the widget interactive component. Any suggestion?
@renderraj19 күн бұрын
Hi, since this is not made for interactive projects so I am not very sure how to get that going. In this we are just applying the widget as a texture onto the static mesh. Maybe you can use some sort of collision which triggers the widget elements. This is just a suggestion, I am not completely sure.

These text components are driving me crazy. Using this for letters/journal pages, so positioning is critical, but the text wont align correctly no matter how I anchor them. It always gets clipped off even though the underlying UVs are perfect. It's as if they're being offset for absolutely no reason. EDIT: Nevermind I figured out the problem. My *'Widget component > User Interface > Draw Size'* was set to the size of my UV shell, rather than the size of my canvas.
@renderrajАй бұрын
In my next tutorial I will be explaining the scale box and size box which can be used to align text correctly within bounds. So keep an eye out for that.

Thats because its Unlit...if you add lights to your scene it should solve the problem.

Why do you assign the material on Tick instead of in the construction script? Won't assigning it every tick mean it's constantly updating and hurting performance? I would like to see part 2!
@renderraj3 ай бұрын
The data on the widget will keep changing in real time hence the Event Tick. Instead of the Event Tick we could add a Custom Event and call it when ever the data in the widget needs to be updated.

@renderraj7 ай бұрын
You can have the UV in any shape, if you make the UV in the size similar to the screen then u get more area to work with. I just made it square for this tutorial.

Hi there! I just came across your channel, and you have great videos! I have some questions, I am a broadcast meteorologist and I would to shoot videos of a scene of the weather I’m talking about. For example when I’m talking about hurricanes it can show the different level hurricanes and the damage they can create for someone and their home as it increases, or if I’m talking about snow, appear in a snowy scene in the mountains, or I’m talking about lightning, be in a rainy scene outside with lightning strikes in the background and etc… What is the best way to learn those techniques? Is this possible? And is this program expensive?

hi, things like these usually require as team of professionals. You can try programs like Zero Density, Aximmetry, these programs have free community versions for testing. For reference you can check this video : kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3fCZIeYipushs0

You just have to hit play on the Editor and just navigate to the object using the W,A,S,D keys like how you would normally navigate in Unreal Engine

How can we make a Player vs player BP, i made one for single players but cant seem to crack the logic on 1v1, THANKS!
@renderraj Жыл бұрын
In the single player blueprint you have to duplicate all the static mesh and move it to the side to make it look like Player VS Player or you can bring the modelled static mesh from you DCC application. For the second player image make another material with a different parameter name. Now in the "ZDUpdateMaterial" component add one more Array Element in the Textures in the Details Panel and then do the same steps as you would for a single player BP.

Is this Density available for Mac users and what is the required system Ram and processing speed do you need to make this work for you. Will be expecting your response soonest. Thanks for this

Hi, you can take a look at Zero Density's documentation for the recommended hardware: docs.zerodensity.tv/docs/v/reality-4.27/reality-4.27/installation-and-configuration-guide/hardware-platforms However, for learning the community version you can run it on any basic laptop/PC that has decent RAM and Graphics Card. You can check out ZD academy for learning resources: academy.zerodensity.tv/

Hi Raj ! I’m new to Zero Density and theres not much tutorial online. It will be helpful if you can help me. My question is there a way to implement drop down list consists of multiple colour into a single mesh? So i can quickly choose any colour i want from that drop down list to implement into the 3d mesh in Reality Hub.
@renderraj2 жыл бұрын
Hi Faiq, yes you can do that. You will need to do this inside of the blueprint in the Reality Editor. You need to use ENUM and create the list of colors that you intend to use later.
