While I do very much agree that hitting the HAB with the drone is most beneficial when infantry are staged nearby, that small lapse in enemy spawn waves can make a big difference when pushing a point. Causing at least a small number of enemies to fall back to rebuild the HAB could have been the difference maker in crossing that desert. But I also do agree that other targets for the drone could have been just as valuable in that scenario (hence why I was targeting the helo before it flew off). The other reason is simply that there wasn't much other things to blow it up on. I find too many commanders in Squad don't use their assets enough and it is often better to use your strikes on cooldown for most effective use rather than waiting for that perfect moment which might not ever come, so at the very least I could take down the enemy HAB, cost the enemy a few tickets, and get my combat engi as well as myself back into the fight. An additional reason is also waiting for blueberries to get in an actual good position for a strike like that is very much easier said than done. In that specific situation it would have taken a very long time for blueberries to get into position for which I figured it was better to lead my Squad into the point rather than wait an exorbitant amount of time.

Also the only permanent member of the UN security council not in the game (USA, UK, France, Russia, China; they were the main victors of WW2 and ended up as permanent members while everyone else rotates in and out lol)
