Not sure how many 707s were left back when this was filmed, but these two are the only two to still remain at SWR

@@HueyRailfanning there was just the two then - this was supposed to be their last day in service but then they negotiated an extension on these two for longer. So they’re both still with SWR but have since been de-branded

@@TrainTraction Thanks - that’s a 4TC rather than a thumper - still mark 1s but no engine - designed for use in push pull formation with a compatible diesel 🙂

Lovely footage I filmed the 50s at Haslemere So it’s the first time a hst power cars have ever been on the watercress line from what I remember 👍🏻👍🏻

@@dwstrains yes things were a little awkward with the stoppers coming in on 2 - it’s why I made my last minute platform change - I had planned to be on the other side as the lighting was better but having been bowled out at Brookwood that morning, I didn’t want to take the chance!
