I can't get mine to transmit on vhf or uhf, unless I manually go in the settings and set eveyrbting that I already set in the cp. Used a perfectly updated plug from my 578.

Purchased a new 168uv but have a problem. When I add my local DMR repeater to my radio, the radio transmits fine and I can see full receive signal strength. but when it receives there is no audio, the radio sounds mute. I have correct CC and slot cause I can key the repeater but as I said no receive audio. Any suggestions please.

I’m not clear on how to clear and re-import the contact list as might occasionally be needed. It seems it wants to append and maybe there are now duplicates. I just need to clean it out.

Sorry, I have had two of them for a few years now. I love them. It's my favorite HT, and I have plenty of HTs. I would love to see you get the Bridgecomm's Code Plug and show us what it is like and how it is organized. I would love to see how different people organize their code plugs and channels. Another thing I would love to see is how to set it up so it switches repeaters as I drive down the road so I can keep in communications with someone. I believe that is one of the selling points of the radio. DMR is an interesting beast that is unique all to itself in just about every way. Please follow up and give us more instructions. I just recently got a Hot Spot, but not BC's. All the local DMR users seem to use them but they are not handy to get instructions from. Thank you. I hope I'm not burdening you, but you asked for this. ;) I love your videos. Thank you.

Hi, I have low vision and would greatly appreciate you using a larger or colored curser. You could also use a circle that highlights the field and when clicked the cursor is in the field for data entry. Your cursor just has a black outline and is very small. Check out cursor settings in the Windows Settings under Display Settings. Thanks in advance and thanks for the helpful videos.

What I do not understand is: Why is there a scan list that lets me "bundle" channels, and then for each channel, I can also select a scanlist for that channel? What is the difference? And when do I use which?

I think the system is for individuals who live in a home that won't allow for a outside antennas. And this mode will do DX like a HF radio.
