cant decide if i want this tent or a white duck regatta 16ft tent .
@learningCountry3 күн бұрын
I like the white duck tents, I just personally do not want to spend a lot of time setting up my tent. The panda Air was the solution for me. However, I think the white duck tents do not need any additional rainlfy and they can stay up for much longer times. I am only camping in mine for a maximum of 1 week- so that is my 2 cents. Good luck!

The Allen Company Axial shooting stick has been working out well for me. I was dead on at 50 yards with the crossbow in a seated position. What Sticks are you guys using?

Does cold weather affect the tent
@learningCountry10 күн бұрын
I do not know for sure. The Panda Air tent is considered a 3 season tent. We did take it out for the first time in February when it was cold but not winter like conditions. We had the stove running- so I did not notice anything particular relating to lower temps.

@learningCountryАй бұрын
the tent is canvas. They do not claim it is 100% water proof, just water resistant. They offer a rainfly that will keep it from leaking. We had heavy down pours-on a few nights but the rainfly kept everything dry.

I just had my first trip with the nomad large. I didnt have smoke issues as I didnt adjust the flue. However I found it very difficult to slow down the burn meaning I was up every 2 hours adding to the stove. I think I will add a gasket to the door. Did you still have smoke coming out of the top plate?
@learningCountry3 ай бұрын
I wanted to seal up the top plate but the wife wanted to keep it free. By installing the gasket I can control the rate of the burn and reduce greatly my risk of smoke.

I have the 930 security 7+1 w/ 18.5" barrel. I installed the Or3GUN Competition Blue Marine Spacer Tube and Competition Spring Plunger and I can now reliably cycle pretty much anything from #8 birdshot- 1oz slugs. Because of the CSP (-10%) difference on the recoil spring I stay away from the 3" magnums but picked up lower power shell reliability. To me its a great trade-off. I get Home Defense and small game hunting reliability.

Thanks!!! Everybody makes it seem like it’s the best stove. You are the second person on KZbin speaking on its flaws. Online there are a bunch of negative comments. I think it’s still a great product without having to examine for myself. I don’t think it’s for people who are going to use it everyday. Great review!!!!

I have this stove and am about to use it for the first time, did you use the 5/8”x 1/8”x 84” gasket? And would that do the job?
@learningCountry6 ай бұрын
I bought 14ft x 5/8in x 1/8in Wood Stove Gasket Tape from Amazon and Rutland Products, Black Rutland Stove Gasket Cement, 2.3-Ounce Tube, Size, 2 Fl Oz from Amazon. Since you have the gasket material already just buy the gasket cement and make a thick bead all around the door and then put your gasket on top, close the door and latch it shut then open it and let it stay open for 12 hours. I had my stove on its back when I did the last part. Let gravity hold the cement and gasket in place.

Question , if a bullet is in the chamber , and u drop the clip , then slide your mag , gun slide.whatever its called , does that release that bullet in chamber for sure 100%
@learningCountry7 ай бұрын
If there is a bullet in the chamber and your magazine is full. If you drop the magazine and rack the slide back the bullet should eject. You still must verify the chamber is empty after doing so. But theoretically the answer to your question is yes.

You made a great contribution. Having invested so much in your carts and helping us with your learning by having both. Everything was very helpful: from the compatibility of the tires, how you use the straps, etc. Even the duct tape you put up as a retainer was pretty nifty. It would be very interesting if you could do your review of the Wilderness Systems Heavy Duty Kayak Cart. Congratulations and I hope you continue sharing interesting things for kayak fishing.

Hi Matthew. I pad somewhere around $1100 for the trailer. I bought it online and put it together. It is great for one kayak. If you plan on customizing the trailer and adding a bunch of things I would strongly urge you to spend less money and just get a jet ski trailer brand new for around $800. It can handle much more weight. With the trailer in this video I converted it to hold my Hobie Adventure Island , rod holders and even a second kayak- I took it down to the Florida keys (from NJ) and back. Once back I realized that I caused stress cracks in the aluminum. Yeah- if you have the discipline to keep it simple and want light weight- this trailer is for you.
