While Transformed did add some neat additions, the removal of the Narrator actually *being* a narrator and the fact each All-star move is either, projectile spam or an AOE attack in the Plane form (minus NiGHTS and Reala who take their original form) is really saddening. But considering *Danica Patrick* of all people was added to the base roster and the fact there are sections where traveling through the sky or on water would've looked weird with specific characters outside of their vehicles, they probably needed to compromise and settled for making the All-star moves basic attacks that could be reskined to match a specific character. Which fun fact, in the 3DS version neither NiGHTS nor Reala go into their original forms. Most likely for both hardware reasons and to keep a steady framerate as Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed was released *before* the NEW 3DS was even a thing. Also, Miis work differently between versions. In the Wii U version, you can't select which Mii you'd like to use but the Super Zoomer will change color according your Mii's favorite color. In the 3DS version the Super Zoomer's default color is red (which matches the 3DS' logo fittingly enough), but you can select from the list of Miis (including Guest Miis) that are on your 3DS. One last note related to Miis, the Swords and Shields seen in the All-star Move for Miis aren't just a random choice by the developers, it actually references Find Mii/Streetpass Quest, one of two default games available in Streetpass Mii Plaza.

The only problems were than the Mii was basically a ripoff of Willemus' allstar, and that Spy didn't yell "YOUR MOTHER!" when he hit someone.

I personally think these All-Star……………… THEMES are better than the first game’s. But the actual moves themselves kinda blow, since compared to the first game, they’re now all the same with the characters’ cars turning into planes, while doing a missile/shockwave attack, the actual moves only last like 10 seconds, whereas in the first game, it depended on what place you were in and how it took for you to catch up. And finally, the music really just ends before it gets started, not really giving us a lot of time to appreciate how radical these themes are! It’s honestly disappointing, really! 😔☹️😞 They could’ve really made the moves as cool as they were the first game, but instead, they just did some lazy copy-paste garbage. Tho, they’re not that bad, I guess. And to be fair, it must’ve been a challenge infusing All-Star moves for land, sea, and air racing.
