Owned two of these, grey imports, great bikes. Used to go out with the TRF on them, and so handy having electric start! Years ago their was a conversion (Auz?) that allowed kick and electric, but no doubt long since gone. One of mine had an FMF pro-core4 fitted, and it sounded great. I believe they came into the country with jetting for Japan, that didn't suit our fuel? I had to change one of the jets (bypass / idle) to sort mine. Guys i rode with, had upwards of 40K miles on them, but the wear on bore and valves was getting high, and needing rebuilds. I would be amazed if the bottom linkages are any good now at that age? Always liked the purple rims, over the UK blue bike. They change hands now ( rusty, battered, and needing complete overhaul) than i paid in early 2000s!

There is a rubber plug in the swingarm... when pulled out there is room inside for lightweight rainsuit or tools etc...

I am still waiting for my seat to ship 8 MONTHS later! I tried to get a refund from paypal but no luck....very disappointing. Poor communication from mugello as well.

Hi, awesome bike. When purchasing from mugello do you get hit with customs charges when importing to the uk?

Until now, I've looked at almost all seat modifications with gel, but no one thought to stick tape on the edges where the gel is, I'm planning to do the same now and I was also thinking of putting tape to connect the gel to the seat. Well done...

What and where did you get that block of gel?

Got a 93 about 3 months ago, using it for green lanes and vinduro. It’s started stalling during startup until warm though so something up.

What you made you think something was wrong?

Our 2013 675R has a pretty good rattle to it when warmed up, suspect it's just like a dry clutch sounds on a Ducati but with oil mixed into the basket dampens the noise some....

What is the mud situation after you installed it? Does it still protect the rear seat and what ever luggage / passenger you might have?

I had a white and red TTR 250 open enduro a few years back, oem light is 35w, and rubbish, you can squeeze in a glass lens and 55w h4 from the newer blue ttr250, you can also get a speedo healer, to change it from kmh to mph, Mitas c02 on the rear is road legal, and will let the ttr go anywhere

Very good to see you checked the chain tension at different places.......there are always stretches on some portions. A garage set my chain too tight & it ripped the tab washer which lead to the sprocket moving......and ground a chunk of silencer off. Luck not to have been highsided along the motorway.....

i have been thinking about hiding some stuff under those side pannels my self, the one thing about it is that it takes about 20 bolts to take it off to access. kinda pain in the a**. good video

Just bought a brand new Street Triple 2022 RS, many oil leaks everywere around the engine, one big one below coming from a hole inside somewere between the swingarm and engine. Pretty annoyed with this bike, i thought they were reliable machines, the bike also has hard time starting when hot, i'm trying to see if the dealer takes it back, otherwise i smell problems long-term.
