Ive been camping there since i was a kid back in the late 70's. I love that place. Would live there if i could. Ive done a few solo camping trips there and was great.

The cheapest steaks are just leftover pieces of beef glued together. So all the health hazards of ground beef apply to this too, as the sides that fell on the cow poop covered floor may very well be on the inside. I'm not saying what she bought was cheap. But if You do try this, remember that.

Its so sad the scones are cheese and chives which is savoury. They give you cream and jam which doesnt make sense. I hope they eventually realise scones should be plain or fruit with raisin. 😢😢 The non clotted cream i could live with but the savoury scone doesnt go with cream and jam 😢 (minor i know but Richard Branson being British should know this and virgin)

There are some videos on youtube you can find of the author being a guest on tv showing some recipes in the book. I believe the author came up with the recipes as her husband wasn't able to eat all meals with her due to his work. As you said, she spent many years perfecting the recipes to make the book. I believe she died very shortly after it was published and her child maintains the website which I think is a very loving tribute. The website has many time conversions for other microwave wattages and is very useful. The book was written with dedication and love. It's a shame that it's so often thought of as a joke instead of the practical guide it's meant to be. I'm glad that even though you got it as a white elephant gift you tried it out and enjoyed the result. :)

Hi, should come with lid, hope you find on ebay a micro mate mw16 corning browner casserole dish with lid! Mashed potatoes easy way, wash, put fork holes, put in dish with lid and 3-5 min later have perfect baked potatoes, up to 5, just cut a cross in top and squeeze flesh into bowl add what want👍(can even cut in half lengthwise and scoop flesh then still make potato skins, even sweet potatoes), can put skins back in with lid and 3 min later perfect potato skins, add butter, cheddar or cream cheese or blend, sour cream, and if want bacon bits. Make way you like, and makes everything.. tyvm. Also my favorite is baked stuffed cod, mix melted butter and lemon juice, crush Ritz crackers, pour little butter mix in pan, add fish and top with crumbs then pour rest butter mixture on top, add parsley, 2 PC's take about 3 min, lid means everything

Yay cruises coming up! And I feel like universal is definitely a better option right now…last few times I’ve been to Disney it’s just been…ok. It also feels like it’s just always overcrowded when we’re able to go which just isn’t avoidable I’m sure, but if I’m waiting in line I’d rather it be for a trip elsewhere lol!
