A springhouse is pre-refrigeration. They're built over a running spring, usually out of stone. The constantly flowing, cool water humidifies the room and keeps it cool. Glad you're enjoying the Eastern US. I can't wait to go out West next year!

We've never gotten sick, but did get slight headaches before when hiking a 14er in Colorado. We turned back at a little over 13,000 feet because we got tired, but we had been hiking strenuous hikes all week. We'll definitely go back to finish! Loved your acorn friend! Hello. I am planing on going up to Washington For Xmas to see my mom. I was hoping to stop by Crater Lake on December 21st. Did you guys need or use chains? I just planned on staying the night someplace close to the lake and then head to it and then head out towards Washington. But I was wondering if you needed chains to get there from your video I could not tell. Any information would be greatly helpful and thank you so much.
