Echo Records and Davey Boy were largely responsible for the bassline scene. Also Jamie Duggan and the folks from up north. Niche, bassline, 4x4. These were the days.

Mad! To think, in my lifetime I've seen the Previous buildings (& explored) then demolished, then this being built & now sadly derelict & awaiting the same fate. Wish I'd managed to have a mooch! When vacated, it was used by the Police for Hostage, anti terror & dog training, Fire service used it for training senarios too. & Pikeys used it for . . . well look at some of the pics. (nice, appropriate sound track)

Had a look around this place, absolutely no clue how people manage to get in though, other than a security gatehouse round the back that appears to keep open, but has a light on (probably has guards in there)
