I was a little bit skeptical about this video but as soon as I saw the first book on the list I knew I was wrong.

Silly cat = silicate. SiO3-2. It's a silly cat because it has three legs. It's also lost both balls. This technique works! Helping my kid with it, this was a good reminder. Took a bit to skip ahead to examples, but appreciate the reminder.

THIS IS THE WORST ADVICE EVER. This guy is paid to advertise the major credit card companies. The easiest way to enter into credit card debt is to memorize your numbers because you can buy whatever you want on a whim without considering your actual cash. We can make america great again if you think for yourself. STOP THINK ACT.... dONT BE A DUMBARS

As much as we can learn from an assigned reading list, even more could be learned also reading all the other books that interest you.

If you want to know how to get the best diet for cognitive performance, don't look to youtubers. Look to history. And btw, diet is actually less important than water. Water is critical to life and if you don't get it, can lead to confusion, brain shrinkage and memory loss.

I have a good printed memory and this is the cause of my suffering that I don't forget things easily and things just stuck in my brain oh it's paining so much I wish I could use it just to do big things in life.

Reading faster is actually better. Think of it like riding your bike. Riding a bike slow is a lot worse. You have to go fast to keep balance. Think of it that way. Jim Kwik says we’re actually starving our brain if we read slow, and that’s why other entertainment distracts us so easily.

You really don't need your intro to be half the video. Especially when all you're saying is "this is hard." We know that-- that's why we're here!

I LOVE this approach, thank you. Too many times I hear people say you need to focus on just one thing, when I have multiple interest! My problem is just finishing things. I do need to work on that and I’m still figuring out what direction I want to go in but I don’t like the idea of just doing one thing all the time. It just doesn’t resonate with me.

This guy sure is full of himself. He offers nothing new and bull shits about already known memory tactics. Its a form of plagerism. What a worthless knowledge thief.

Sure, but that does not adress the question on how to get a growth mindset. Stating that a growth mindset is better than a fixed mindset is about as useful as stating that it is better to be rich than poor. That is my main critizism om the book "mindset" by Carol Dweck. It is just stating the obvious. To actually get a growth mindset you need an idea and action plan to get there.

Thanks to your video I ended up making up my own mnemotechnics for each kana. It's kinda difficult for me to create a brand new situation for each kana, but I try to simplify it with a drawing. For example, for Ne ( ね ) I imagine it's a stickman fishing (at the end of the rod, there's the fish). My native language is spanish, so fishing would be "pescar", so I switch it to "NEscar" which is kind of silly , but I remember it.

So basically subscribing to read wise and doing passive review from an email on random quotes/highlights. Why not generation? Or active recall? Or even free recall? Passive recall doesn't aid learning much at all...

I've been preaching about the keto diet to family and friends for years but none of them believe the benefits. They've seen me loose loads of weight and feel physically and mentally better, but they refuse to try it. Its almost like the carbs have brainwashed them.
