I've already played all the good games (well, to my standards, anyway). Some of them I own like Horizon, Fallout 4, Control, and now Remnant 2 (the one good game they added recently). Everything else is lame. The monthly games are lame. Who gives a crap about Lego Hobbit or Cat Quest? What kind of psycho wants to play Police Simulator? Sony needs to pull the dollar bills out of their ass and make their service worth paying for.

I think we should give it to Nintendo for this one. While they don’t have a free online subscription either, the prices are cheap AS HELL! 1 Month-$3.99, 3 Months-$7.99, 1 Year-$19.99! While sure, the online features clearly are a bit limited with it being mostly family friendly games, but still, those prices are CRAZY! Especially since you get access to all those classic NES and SNES games too!

i get that your point is you didnt see anyone saying it felt like old fortnite but you cant really say that when your algorithm and content is catered to new fortnite. i saw alot of tiktoks and tweets about the feeling of being a kid again in og season for example one tiktok user did a video where they showed a vid of them winning a game in fortnite og and then when they won back in 2017-18 and the title was "years later same feeling". also the player count wouldnt be that high consistently

I started playing Fortnite on my brothers PlayStation 4 in season 7 of chapter 1. Let’s be honest it was definitely one of the cosiest seasons ever. The map the snow the Christmas theming was magical. The battle pass was cool to (get it?) I got my own console in chapter 2 season 2 and till this day those 2 seasons are my favorite

The issue with ps vr is 1: its overpriced 2: it only has 2 games 3: the quest 3 is just better, you get more games, infact better games and you dont need a cable or a ps5

People , dont give up until the end. Keep buying your games on physical media even if it's not as convenient. The day will come that Sony and MS will completely control and own all of your digital library purchases and force you to get a digital console. Unless something drastic happens you won't be able to pass down, sell or back up your game collection, as its not yours just the permission to play them (they call it a license). My kids will be getting my ps1, 2, 3, 5, xbox, 360, xbone, series, n64, gamecube and wii collection and game library to do with as they please. It matters if you love this hobby /endrant

Holding online games hostage

I miss the good old PS3 days back when online play was free and there was no need for PlayStation Plus needed to play online for a month or a year.

I mean, have you heard on essential you get 3 games a month, I was happy with that, but I got Premium For Days of Play and game streaming works just fine for me, I enjoy psplus premium, but extra is worth it if you want a game feast and want to play online

I started season 7 played before but in season 6 and 5 and saw it in 4 four. I didn’t even play season 1/2, I was 7. But Christmas morning 2018 I got Fortnite on my Nintendo switch and I cry for Nostalgia of season 7 the most. I also loved the rest of chapter 1. I’d love to travel back and experience that joy again. 😊

i'm sorry but season OG sort of proves you wrong at 2:02. Epic thought there would be some hype and it'd die down in a week or two. but no fortnite OG which was the simplest fortnite has been for years had the highest player count ever for the entire season. 11ml in the first week and it stayed at around 4-7 for the rest of the season. then it fell back to about 2-3 with the familyguy stuff and has been losing more and more players since (down to abt 1ml now) while yes the OG season hit 11ml because of nostalgia, it stayed popular thanks to the simplicity of it, there wasn't any BS lightning bolt that obliterated you or ai that take forever to kill but drops op loot which removes so much skill from the game.

It’s time for a new reign of massive multiplayer games to take over. The state of multiplayer games is extremely dry right now. And I’ve felt this way after Apex Legends. Apex imo was the last major multiplayer game to have a lasting popularity without immediately crashing and burning. 2019-Present has sucked for multiplayer gaming. COVID and industry greed is to blame.

i miss LTMs, the lobby UI is GARBAGE ASF now, people will literally run the whole match tryna reboot, they literally added a feature where you can stay alive at 1 hp to "have a comeback mid fight", and Epic is fine with broken Mythics- even promoted getting the pulse rifle. the game is fun but it feels like they make all the wrong decisions with the WEAPONS. with the god season we've barely had the god powers for about a MONTH- the rest of the season was Avatar mythics that broke the whole game. playing with friends will always be fun and it shouldnt feel the same as OG, ive accepted only a few people at epic know what theyre doing. the rest wanna stack collab ontop of collab for money since the virtual vbuck price went up

OG Player here, C1 S3. The game was really good up until season 7 ch2, and It was still decent In c3, when c4 released It really did go down hill. the game just Isn't good, the realistic graphics are horrible, the game is supposed to be cartoony and fun, it feel likes cod or PUBG, I don't come here to play that. the new ui Is horrible, and its barely useable. the item shop is getting better but it still isnt good, and they keep putting colabs at the top of the item shop which have been in the item shop for weeks, I want to see the few changes that have actually occured in the item shop, not the same stuff everytime i open the page. I hate all the pois, they all feel the same, none of them are unique or fun to drop at, and the horrible graphics don't help my impression on them. the guns are also horrible, besides from a few, my favorite is atleast the DMR, the rest are just bad. I especially hate the weapon mods, they don't belong In fortnite. they also are starting to take content away from br to promote uefn, lego, rocket racing, and festival, this Is super sad especially when it comes to events, I loved events but It feels like we never get them anymore, It also doesnt help their removing your ability to use some skins in these modes. they have also censored emotes like take the L In br, which Is weird and also sad. no one Is saying everything should stay the same, literally no sane person Is. you need to understand the reason people are mad about this Is because they change things that dont need to be fixed or changed, I want changes, I want cool updates, but I don't want this.
