When was this taken? Was thinking recent as it's election year, but then no barrier on the right along SH2, not even started the ground work on SH2/SH58 interchange nor Transmission Gulley, the old passing lane on SH58 still there and no bikerkiller cheesecutter barrier in its place, but after the washout... Is a great reminder of how things used to be. Is this an annual ride? Would be nice to see a comparison vid.

I can recommand this bike! great learner bike and also for the more experienced rider. Its great for twisties a bit of offroad, travelling and the daily commute!

ya I am trying to teach some new riders about blipping, its kind of tough concept for them lol. wheels wait until tomorrow I am taking Akatarawa Road home upper hutt to Waikanae, google it, its quite a challenging ride! I do like the vlogging a lot, its quite interesting to me anyway lol

Always better to take the 'interesting way home'. ;) Yeah, this vlogging stuff takes time, money& effort but is very rewarding. Pretty stunning view indeed! I always blip the throttle when I downshift; it does help (car or bike).
