I own 1.8 petrol version. Car is great besides a few problems. 1-corrosion especially rear part next to wheels and Rear suspension. It is Good to do standing and anti corrosion coating. 2-radio problems. 3-tranamission gearbox malfunctions 4-Timing chain cover leaks Best is to use 0w20 toyota original engine oil or equivalent to avoid valvematic malfunctions.

I have a 2007.& The only problem I've had and many others is the dash bubbling,it's got 200000 miles on it.the tranny just started slipping but for a car that's 18 years old that's pretty dam good engine still running strong.its quite an amazing vehicle it's fully loaded and never had any electronic problems whatsoever

I have a 2.2 120cv that's been sitting in the sidelines for some years now. It's a beast of a car when it works, problem is that it only works 10% of the time. I'm currently driving a 1.9 150cv and so far it hasn't failed me in 3 months but that was after paying the price of the car in repairs alone. From my experience this cars are just awful, constantly in safe mode (it's not safe, actually almost got me killed some times) and the electronics and AC are constantly failing despite having brought the cars to different mechanics to make sure it wasn't a problem with whoever was repairing the car and not the car itself. 1/10 would not recommend, if you want to throw money away just use it to light a fire, it'd be more usefull than this pieces of crap that opel calls a car

We've had ours since 2001, literally the only issue is rust. Great workhorse, even offroad in the woods while pulling a trailer :D I kinda wanna restore it whenever my family stops using it because I have so many great memories with the car I want it to live on

1. as the LX 570 gets older the frame rusts 2. the 5.7 v8 has a leaky timing cover. 3. strut tower leaks. T coolant fitting leaks 4. windshield leaks into the floor kicker panel 5. radiator cracking/leaking Keep in mind these flaws only start appearing after 150,000 miles if you just keep up with maintenance you will be fine

My 2014 ix35 2.0 petrol engine died at 211 780 km. First clue was sometimes weak acceleration than red check engine light turned up and engine started clicking, I have stopped immidietly but the damage was already done, metal shawings in a oil pan and game over. I'm considering engine replacement.

The conductor plate goes bad , not the sensors! The plate lose electrical connection. You can get a plate from a junk yard, have the vin wiped, and add your vin to plate. It will fix the problem. Get you out of limp mode!

Older IDI diesels are a lot less environmentally friendly but, in many cases. almost unburstable. I have one and prefer to pay the additional road tax to having to deal with constant problems. Mine is a Peugeot XUD9TE, the highest mileage example I've seen had 979,000 miles on it, with just regular maintenance. Some early Mercedes 5 cylinder diesels have covered much greater distances than this, albeit finding one in a western European country that hasn't rusted to pieces isn't easy. My own Peugeot still looks good after 27 years though, with plenty of care. If it got written off, I certainly wouldn't buy a modern diesel.

so my xc60 t6 after leaving it off for a few minutes ill start it up and just barely hit the gas to rev it while its in park and ill hear and feel a slight grind and then everything is fine like it drives smooth no issues or sounds, i did a trans flush and noticed theres a leak between the transfer case and trans not sure if they share fluids but my guess is the transfer case is about empty and the grind is the transfercase initial engagement. im not a mechanic but that small grind noise definitely only happens upon initial press of the gas i use to put it in drive then hit the gas but i felt like that grinded it harder than just doing it in park then put it into drive. so everyday i start my xc60 i start it, let the rpm settle to 700 then slightly gas the engine get the grind noise then go to drive/reverse and everything is fine just hit a 0-60 in 6.6s with 1/4 mile 14.7s yesterday and i monitor the trans temp with my torque OBD2 and it stays 190f with spikes up to 215 when doing a 0-60 combined with waiting at a red light for a while
@MasterCarsPro
@MasterCarsPro 13 күн бұрын
That sounds like a transfer case issue, and you're right, it could be low on fluid.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Come to Jesus Christ today Jesus Christ is only way to heaven Repent and follow him today seek his heart Jesus Christ can fill the emptiness he can fill the void Heaven and hell is real cone to the loving savior today Today is the day of salvation tomorrow might be to late come to the loving savior today John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Jesus
