You seemed faster through the technical stuff and the guy in front was faster through the wide open sand and hard dirt stretches

is this at or near Huff and wheeler rd in the imperial valley , entrance to superstition?

It's just north of Blythe CA. off of Lovekin Blvd.

@@kathleensaelens3556 looks like a fun sand track but what does not do the video justice is how tiring it is getting around the long track lap after lap without stopping to rest

it looks like started by painted gorge then thru plaster city , superstition area off the evan hewes highway out towards ocotillio wells and then back around superstition and back to ocotillio off the 8. Im guessing from the look of the terrain but i dont see the sand dunes

Not trying to hate on the poster, but thats really nothing. Even not racing you should be going faster than that.
That's what I was thinking also. Race what's in front of you, and pin it he's getting away! lol

You got me 😅. This was the first time I've been that close to the front of the pack, so I was absolutely💩 myself. As for pinning it, it was a 100+ mile race and pace has been my Achilles heel in the past. Ended 2nd overall and 1st vet. Thanks for watching!

Working on it right now, I'm still figuring out the best setup for uploading from the GoPro and I was having technical issues getting the last section uploaded.
