Ive watched several of your videos and live in Florida. I notice you mention a rooting soil for your cuttings but you never discuss information on your rooting soil. Can you please share that information or even make a video . Really enjoy your videos . Rooting plants is one of my weak points as a gardener.

I’m curious to know your thoughts on dropping a well point below your 2” casing and then leaving the casing in place rather than removing it? That way if you ever want to remove the well point for repair you can without abandoning the well all together. Is it doable, or is there an issue with leaving the casing in the ground? It seem the water table shouldn’t fluctuate too much especially here in Florida. Thank!

Put it in the shade and plenty of water. It will be dramatic and drop some leaves at first, but it will get new ones and look good again quickly!

How deep can I drill with this method?
@thecarringtonjungle493311 ай бұрын
I would not attempt to go more than 40 feet in sand. If you use a recirculating pool with chemicals, you could probably go deeper but it would be more involved

@@thecarringtonjungle4933 thanks nice to know where you are. I grow several varieties of bananas, cannas, canna musafolia, heliconias, all sorts of alicosias and colocasias, large collection of bromeliads, Chinese fan palms, pindos, Mexican fan palms, cat palms, lady palms. I also have a large shaded area where from March to November I can bring outside various tropical plants most people grow inside but I like them outside and they enjoy it as well

@thecarringtonjungle4933 Жыл бұрын
We leave them in the ground. The large ones take the cold well, but any frost burns the leaves but doesn't kill them, just makes them ugly. We trim it off and they throw new ones in the spring. We are in 9b

Thank you! We are in sarasota, so a couple hours south of you, same coast! Other than the heliconias, everything we have wants the shade and is super easy in Florida. And we definitely will let you know if we get some bamboo for sale. All of ours came from tropical bamboo which is in the south of the state. They ship it and all of our are 3 years old or less. Very affordable! But if you have the time, it's worth driving down there to see their place. It's beautiful and you can see all the bamboos in there full size!
