Great video. I cant wait to try these when I visit HCM later this year. I'm a chef and I'm going to try a version of the deep fried crispy banana fritter. It looks amazing. Thanks

There was a place that did the banana fritter with coconut ice cream which are a perfect combo. Sadly I found out that they are closed when trying to go and record.

Com Tam Ba Ghiền is average. They serve you like prison food with everything throwing on top of the other. A lot of meat but for a price $108k per. I m wondering about the Michelin award? It seems a lot of restaurants in VN get this title? Hmmm

Saigon lúc nào cũng đổi mới nên các quán ăn cần cái gì đó lạ và mới để mọi ngưỏi đến dù chỉ là các món ăn quen thuộc mỗi ngày

I GOT THE POCKET 2, so jealous! Your channel popped up my feed today, and im so happy, surfing all your food videos now! Strange, My name is Long and i will also make very similar vidoes like you haha. But in Da Nang, coming in from Norway in Feb 2025. I will bring the pocket 2 with insta360 3s to hopefully catch the food venors by suprise in their natural self without them seing the Insta360 3s, that camera is so small! Then i will use the pocket 2 to film the rest. You like the pocket 3 so far? The only problem i have got with it before, is the gimbal mechanicsm moves very slow, so hard to follow ppl sometimes. I might get the DJI Action 5 also hmm

Oh let me know your channel name. Would love to see the restaurant in Da Nang. We can also grab a bite if you are in HCM. Funny enough, I should have just bought the Pocket 2 as its really all I need. I dont use it much as got so much to worry about out on the street filming. I guess the features like 4k and night recording will come good in the future as my skills go up. You sound like your gears are very good to start. The editing is the thing takes the most time hehe.

I like the mix taste of rich creamy egg yolk with salty beef broth. How do you eat it?

@@LongventuresVietnam shouldn't the yolk is creamy yes but it will also make broth tanint fishy.... if you like to taste like that you can ask for another small bowl separating yolk and voila. You have creamy broth and the original taste of your bowl.

Singapore has beef noodle soup too but the beef flat rice noodle soup (phở bò) was the best I'd ever savoured in my life (no exaggeration). A young lady who spoke fluent English recommended us to this Pho Le Restaurant. The pho bo came with a lot of tender beef meat, beef balls and very delicious offals (80000 dong /SGD$4.00). The free flow of iced tea which was very nice but because the staff couldn't speak English, we didn't know what kind of tea leaves they used.

Do not go to Bánh Xeo 46A . So bad , so expensive! I was there in 1/2024 and was utterly disappointed with the taste. Bland and no longer authentic, and super expensive for the locals. Google search Banh Xeo in HCM city. There was one in Cho Lon that was highly rated I would try next time

It is pork stuffed in bitter melon soup. A refeshing soup which is addictive once you are used to the taste.

you have very limited knowledge of how much SG local people can spend on foods & drinks! there are a lot more expensive places than these! There are poor people, but there are also many rich people! SG is the biggest fanciest city in VN with nearly 10 million people! Even if 1 rich:100 poor, there can still be 100,000 rich people!

I am surpriseI to see Pho Le made it up there. As a Vietkieu who has lived on three different continents over the past 30 years, I’ve never encountered a bowl of phở as disappointing as the one at Phở Lê. It’s everything phở shouldn’t be-overly greasy and overwhelmed with spices. You can't pay me to eat there.

Their style is definitely very strong pho flavor. Doesn't suit everyone. Luckily we have so many options of good pho in Saigon for all. Pho Hoa and Pho Vietnam are some good lighter flavour alternatives.
