People need to smarten up about how much things cost. If a genuine spark plug at a store will cost you $15 to $20 each, and someone is selling a 4 pack of the same plugs for $15, they are obviously fake. Retail markup on parts is not 400%, more like 20% to 40%. A company that is selling you a spark plug for $20 probably bought it wholesale for around $14 to $15. There is no wizard out there that can buy them wholesale at sell them to you at a profit for $4 each if they are real. So, use some common sense.

Did you cut and strip the wire on the hardwire kit to the fuse tap? Or did you somehow use the connector that came on the hardwire kit? Thx!

I cut off the hardwire kit spade connector (on the red wire) and crimped a butt connector onto the fuse tap.

Great video! Do you have a video on how to install BAB-95 battery? The BAB-95 has more wiring but lasts longer.

Thank you for this video! I was on Crutchfield's website looking over the 82-7303 bracket (same as you have in the video) and it their website kept telling me that the 82-7303 wouldn't fit in the rear for the Elantra and instead recommended the "American International HKSB110" bracket. My aftermarket speakers are 3.1" deep (Crescendo pwx-6) and there is no way the rear bracket they are offering would work. I'm glad I found your video because you confirmed that the 82-7303 bracket fits the Elantra rear doors, same as the front. I'm just hoping I will have the correct clearance with the pwx-6's because these speakers have huge magnets (150w RMS).

In order to keep the bolts holding the running boards and brackets from coming loose, I would have purchased nylon locking bolts. In the long run, the price of those bolts would guarantee they lasted a very long time without worry.

Can you please comment on the resistance zero spark plugs. Are they better because less resistance.
@dial2fast
@dial2fast 3 күн бұрын
From NGK website: Since resistor type plugs actually “resist” some of the spark energy, non-resistor type plugs actually deliver a more powerful spark. It is for this reason that most racing plugs are non-resistor types. However, in most automotive applications, a resistor plug is required for proper vehicle operation. Use of non-resistor plugs in vehicles that call for a resistor type can result in rough idling, high-rpm misfire, and abnormal combustion.

Which sounds better, Bluetooth or AUX ?
@dial2fast
@dial2fast 3 күн бұрын
Aux audio is wired vs Bluetooth which is wireless. Bluetooth audio has improved over the years and it's near CD quality. I personally think Aux is better if sound quality is important for you, but Bluetooth is convenient with pretty decent sound quality.

Yup. If you are getting a really good deal on usually expensive spark plugs or OEM automotive parts in general, wake up. Best case scenario, your fake spark plugs wear out with 15k-20k miles of use. Worst case scenario, the guts of your fake plug blows out or the plug itself melts down taking out the coil extension tube and threads with it. Seen it, fixed it. Thanks China for more quality bootleg junk.
