i'm having so much trouble with this run... it increased my appreciation for the barstow though... i'm with a wheel, h-shifter, and trackir, it's a lot of fun, but can't figure it out, i'll copy your gear "usage" and keep burning out on every curve exit as you did and see what's what... my best time is 2.41.xxx

I did it with my g29 afterwards and got a better time. They key is to be smooth on the throttle and brake, try to not burn one tire on corner exits as the car has no LSD

In my opinion it´s much easier to select and then cut/copy & paste. It´s very finicky if you try to just move it.

(as somewhat of a cosmoteer veteran, if you mind maybe take my advance, dont wanna seem weird) lazers are kinda weak unless with ions. The second round the shields are pretty much exposed and the cannons can go into the reactors. You had speed with you. For the final round your ship was pretty decent expect maybe dont have such sprawling armor, maybe some more speed. (of course I dont know if this is your first time playing cosmoteer, or this gamemode.)

Maybe turning off your shields will make your energy sufficient during the 1st run.

everything was pretty good. But to get on the 1:30s, make sure to not coast on 0:52? instead, apply a bit of brakes and occasional throttle through the turn to get that extra bit of rotation. Also at 1:29, you should've braked a bit earlier and maximized the track limits for the last segment of the race. have fun!

You should try to do the Wet Rockets and Going Sideways missions to get some more funds. After that, you'll need to tweak your rocket to have more performance, all the stages in total in a vacuum should be in the ballpark of 5.5km/s (roughly). You need to be going about 3,400m/s for a low orbit around Droo. Also, try not to have too many stages! In rockets at this stage, your engines will be one of your most expensive parts on the craft. You'll want to put a decent amount of time tweaking your engines (ideally you'll have a first stage and a second stage) to get a good balance between performance and cost.
