Do you think those tires would have fit with that lift but stock wheels?

I love this video and what you put here and how you produce it! BUT I have to say you should not be under the truck without chocks and jack stands. Those are some basic elements of DIY suspension and related jobs. Maybe I missed that or it wasn't shown but some of the shots I don't see it and it's a bad example.

Thanks for showing these steps, i saw them on Amazon a couple weeks ago and wondered how they would work on my 23 Canyon Denali. I was hoping you were going to stand on them. Im not a big guy, but still wouldnt want them fail.

I went with the NFab rock sliders. twice as much, but they are true sliders. Yours do look sharp

Hey man, have you actually heard of anyone that works on these trucks specifically because every thing I’ve ever searched on KZbin, is all about tundras and Tacoma and I’m sick of it! like why isn’t there any information on this truck and how to fit 35’s?

I bought a 2024 Colorado ZR2 mid March, and am planning on putting 285/75/17's on it using the OEM wheels and offset (to prevent rubbing). Seeing other guys have issues with rubbing, I'm convinced that keeping the OEM offset is key to fitting larger tires without issue. I think that with a little tweaking of the area where the spare is (slotting the tire heat shield mounting holes and insulating it, wrapping the exhaust there with Thermo-Tec, and slotting the hole on the rear tire stabilizer bracket), I can even fit the larger tire under there. It's only an extra 1/2" in tire radius for a ZR2.

I work at discount tire, sensors cost 60$ no matter if you buy your tires with them or not, and why didnt you just keep the oem sensors instead of buying new ones?

Don't do anything else or fool around with replacong those tires until you take it to an alignment shop and have a full alignment done. Even if you removed the front strut/shock assembly and put it all right back together (with no lift kit parts), your alignment is going to be out. And when I say alignment, I don't just mean making sure it drives straight. It throws off multiple things. Great video and music btw

Since you didn't adjust your speedo/odometer for the larger wheels your calculated mileage is incorrect. Obviously, you're going faster (based on your gps observation) but you're actually traveling further with each tire rotation as well. You will need to calculate the increase in circumference from whatever tires you had on before to get an accurate MPG.

Great video! The leaf spring holes can be off needing some twisting like you mentioned if only one side is being lifted(worked on at a time). With both sides up and wheels off the spring holes should be level. 🤙🏼

Anyone who calls this a "truck" clearly has no clue what a "real truck" is. "Real Truck" owners NEVER don't do stupid stuff like sticking 40" tires on a stock Sierra 1500. 35" tires or bigger, lifted 2+ inches, V8 or larger, loud ass exhaust, 6 foot bed or longer, and sits on its own unique chassis. Thats how we do it here in Texas. You California city boys might do something different. I believe the Canyon sits on the same chassis as the traverse, and the Sierra 1500 Crew Cab Short sits on a Yukon's chassis and the crew cab long bed on the Yukon XL's chassis. All the other brands are the same way.

You need to have pass through sockets to take apart the top hats correctly. Pass through sockets would allow you to hold the inner part with an allankey and use a scoket to take it off.

Awesome video, and Thanks for the very detailed info, I am my self trying to decide on my wheels and tires... I own a 2024 Chevy Colorado Trail Boss in Sand Dune Metalic and either I am doing a 18x9 0mm or 17x9 -12mm but definitively 33's to avoid issues you mentioned. tomorrow actually I will be test fitting a set of LOCK Offroad BAJA 17x9 -12mm to see how it looks, and they have ordered 18x9 0mm KMC KM722 TECHNIC all in Mate Black. it's very strange that looking at all your videos it looked like your AT4 had a rake when new, and not actually level , my TBOSS is all leveled and it sure has a 2" Lift OEM, I bought it Saturday and it had a Z71 next to it and this was bigger(taller)
