Thanks for sharing Victor. I always enjoy seeing the Polka Quads again - reliving many nights and weekends, good times spent dancing to and listening to them, so very many great memories of glory days gone by. Wonderful. Thanks!

Where is this band from Slovenia?
@MatthewBarelick4 ай бұрын
My favorite waltz of all time is the "Wind Song" that has to be Avseniks greatest song ever it was the last song that was performed at his funeral and the mountains of Slovenia echoed it so well it sounded like all of heaven's angels were singing along was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard!

Some interesting faking going on. Spoils the rest.

Button boxes dont really swing unless they have a really strong beat driving them. The polka was better.

This is probably why polka are slowly dying here were stuck in the past. The Europeans are growing especially amongst the young.

I agree. Current info. The past is killing polka in this country. I listen to European posts. There is always something NEW and interesting.

Maybe this is why polka are dying. Nothing new. Listen to music from Slovenia, its new and vibrant with tons of young people participating. So sad!

However, Slovenefest in Enon Valley, PA, has still not recovered since COVID. Their attendance is down and the number of performing acts continues to decline. You may not like Frank Moravcik , but he continues to attract crowds to this day. He plays good dance music!

There might be some Lipa park there but a lot of it looks like Recher Hall in Euclid. A lot of familiar faces. I just saw myself at 2:00:00 playing with Joey, Hank and a drummer I can't see. From the singing I would guess Mark Habat. It looks as if Hank is playing Denny Bucar's bass. Fun times

I wasn't expecting to see Staiduhar at 1:32 45. It was nice seeing the familiar faces in the crowd. The banjo I'm playing is a 1923 Paramount that was sold to me by Roger Di'benidict. He and my dad played together in the "Art Perko Orchestra" they also were on the road together in 1958 playing with Frank Yankovic. I'm honored to have that instrument. Dad and I were just playing those two instruments last night with the "Fairport Jammers" . Nice to see the music being kept alive.
