Why do you praise so much kids playing with a mediocre technique?

Wow. That is just incredible. Such a clear display of individual and combined musicianship - to the next level. Thank you for this, gave me goosebumps and a few tears. ❤

Absolutely stunning! Ligeti is the greatest composer of the 20th century IMHO.

Hello and well done, very beautiful! I have a question, is one of your parents from the city malayer in iran? Because my surname is Zandieh too and I'm from malayer we are a dynasty actually.

I think it’s too slow it should be faster but for a 6 years old it’s good but for a grandmaster at piano it’s bad

good but why perform if your going off pitch

Awesome Christopher!! I really enjoy your playing. You remind me of the old school pianists like Arrau and Rubinstein. I hear the love for the music that you have. I sometimes feel like pianists can loose the essence of art and sound lacking in deep connection with the music. You obviously don’t have that problem!! Keep that soul you have. It’s even more important than great technique which you also have!! 👍😁

I saw Christopher at the Most Arts Festival at Alfred University and was glad he won the competition. If someone else would have won I would have been disappointed. I’m not sure if you guys read all of the comments, but I would love to hear Christopher play Mendelssohn fantasy in F# op. 28.

You Zandieh brothers are so awesome!! I love how natural and musical you guys are. I know in today’s classical world they pretend that everything is all about technique. It’s not!! I’ve heard plenty of performances where the musicians have fantastic technique, but lack in soul, emotion etc. You guys have it all.

Seamless passing of the melodic motifs. The body language of the performers shows their communication of the mood of each phrase. Utterly professional!
