I thought that Rory helping Paris through processing that decision was a move of great friendship. Good questions to ask because Paris did seem confused and unsure how to process the situation. Like something was troubling her but she couldn’t determine what. and she’s the logic loving lady, so breaking it down piece by piece seemed to help. I took the good kid comment to be not just about Rory being safe but about her helping her friend. Because Rory’s questions also seemed like an admission of her values & it showed that Lorelai and Rory must have had some conversations that lead to this point.

Kind of hypocritical from Lorelai to say this when she did the same thing to Sherry with Christopher in season 2, the thing is that they just weren’t married, and then she proceeded to hate Sherry as if she had anything to do with Christopher’s poor choices in life. I love how human Rory is. She messed up big time, she says the wrong thing, feels like dean is Her dean.. Someone else said it on the comments but this shows how immature Rory is at this point. I mean I think she was 21 maybe? What I would’ve loved to see on later seasons was Rory growing out of some of her flaws… but I dont feel like she did. Maybe if the show hadn’t been canceled we could’ve had that “oh shit Im a person and Ive fucked up so much” moment from her, like talking to Lane about her past mistakes and how she’s run from some problems in her life etc etc, and then she starts making small but real changes… Maybe she realizes she needs time for herself to sort these things out, and THEN we get the last minute breakup with Logan, but it can feel more refreshing and REAL and “OMG SHE IS FINALLY ADDRESSING THESE THINGS’” kind of moment, it would’ve filled me with joy because that really shows a person has grown up. That’s how I would’ve liked the show to end at least…

I never regained ANY respect for her after this. I already had very little by this point but damn. She turned into a whole ass home wrecker and had the nerve to blame the woman just trying to make her husband happy.

No screams, no cries, no violent communication. But you can realize how much that Lorelai was truly bothered by what Rory's did with Dean - adultery is just one of the worst things people can do. It hurts so much, destroys families and relationships. Rory loses all her beauty to me in this moment.

I hated this plot line. So much. And in the revival she’s knocked up by someone who is engaged. They really didn’t give her a moral compass.

What gets me is Rory thinks it's soooo horrible how Lindsey supposedly made Dean quit school to work a 9-5 😂 Like sorry Rory but not everyone is privilege like you when they can just go to school full time and not worry about bills . I dont even want to hear how well her mom was a teen mom and all that BS 😂 like yeah she was also already born into a wealthy family, which is why she had the support to go on a finish school and start a business.
