I like “curated maximalism”. A home should have a live-in look with collection of grouped items that you love. I love groups of bone white porcelain items such as vases, animals, art deco and Asian figurines. However, I place them against a backdrop of colors that make pop like deep blues or lighter shades green. And, as an aside, I love your vlogs.

Hi guys; "In-Door, Out-Door openings". I worry about that idiom; especially in Brooklyn, because of the rats. I, used to live in BK, years back; my friend, had a beautiful, out-space and about 6PM, we would watch the rats, come out. And we would have to, run back inside. One rat, almost rat inside the house; we had to close the accordion door. All the best Shaun🦉 of NYC🗽

That's happy and bright. Perfect for non freeze areas. I have a matte terracotta tile patio here in Ohio . One winter it turned cold over night after a rain. I walked out on it and my feet came out from under me and back and head slammed into it. Never put tile on an outside surface in colder climates, unless you heat the surface

This place is massive! And you're adding so many cool elements! I'm drooling over the original cabinet in the kitchen, so glad the owners want to keep it, it's stunning. I didn't know a lot of brownstone had additions like that, it seems so contemporary to have multi-story ceiling like that on the back.

Looks beautiful! BTW, you guys might want to rethink your channel name. "Barry & Jordan" is pretty vague, especially when scrolling through my home feed, it gets lost in the mix. "Brownstone Boys" has such a stronger brand recognition when you're trying to attract an audience.
