@@shahmaarbaba I have uploaded a picture of the thirdperson Anim BP here: ibb.co/1XNnh81, is this what you are referring to?. if Yes, the default group is a type "SLOT" used to enable the play of Animation Montages via Blueprint. Along with default group, there is upper body and full body which determines which portion of the body the animation should be playing. if you open any animation sequence, you will notice on the track, what group the animation is created for.

As someone who started in Unity, I can say that Unity is NOT as beginner-friendly as they advertise or as you describe. Unreal only has a stigma for not being beginner-friendly, but it isn't true. Unreal is actually far more beginner-friendly than Unity. If you start in Unreal I can guarantee that you will find it hard to switch to Unity. It may take a while to learn but you can get a lot done fast in Unreal than you would in Unity

5.5 UNREAL? It's barely in it's development stage. 5.4 is still too pricey for the average developer, and still too unstable. 5.3 is the last stable build of the engine and still suffers with stutter , and compatibility issues, using earlier versions of it's asset packs. (works with 4.27), but does work well in 5.3, or 5.4..... where the program may not work at all. NO one knows about 5.5. Because, it's not even on the market yet. So, I am not sure how you comparing "Unity 6" , to a product that is yet to be released. (5.5) . Stay tuned.

Hey, did you create this child container in the BuildAbility function? If you have not, you can still add this child container and it will work the same. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaC9f4p4lregqLM I show the same following steps in the video above, 1. Go to the PlayerHudWidget and create a new variable and name it "ChildContainer" 2. Make this variable of type, "W Ability icon" and make it into an array. 3. Find the Build Ability Function 4. In this function, find where we create Ability icon. 5. Drag in the "Child container" variable and drag off the array icon and search for "Add" 6. Connect the output of the "Create Ability Icon" to this container. 7. Also drag the same output from "Create Ability Icon" and "Add Child" to the Ability container.

@RajeevPragTutorialsАй бұрын
I'm so glad that you like this tutorial. For your query, 1. Create a custom event in your character blueprint and name it, "Add all abilities" 2. Inside this event, add "get data table row names" select your data table 3. Drag off the array output and search for "for each loop" 4. Drag off the array element and add " get data table row" select your data table 5. Bring in the " playerhudwidget" reference and call function "build ability tray" 5. Now connect this "build ability tray" function to the " Row Found" output 6. Connect the "outrow" to the "AbitlityInfo" of the "buildabilitytray" Function That's it, now call the "Add all abilities" event from your event begin play of your character blueprint, after you have created the widget and this should run fine. Let me know how it goes.

@RajeevPragTutorialsАй бұрын
Its pretty Simple to make the ability go from left to right. Assuming you named everything as I did in the video, 1. Go to Player HUD 2. Expand the "XP and Abilities" until you find the "AbilityContainer" 3. Select the "AbilityContainer" and on the right side panel, where it says "Content Layout", go to "Horizontal Alignment" and change it to "Left Alignment" 4. Next Open the graph and go to the "Build Ability Tray" function 5. After you add the created Widget to the Child Container, Disconnect the "Clear Children" function 6. Get the Reference to the Ability Container and Add Child. Check the image here, blueprintue.com/blueprint/-ww8udhb/ Hope this helps,.
@DominoUBАй бұрын
I had a similar issue to you. Don't know if this will help but this is how I made it go left to right. In your W_PlayerHUD select the AbilityContainer. In the Render Transform setting, change the scale to -1. This will make it go left to right, but will reverse the icon. Then go to the W_AbilityIcon select the Portrait and set the same thing to reverse the icon. It's a really hacky way to do it but it does work. I would love a proper solution if anyone has one.
