If you are not in the financial market space right now, you are making a huge mistake. I understand that it could be due to ignorance, but if you want to make your money work for you... prevent inflation

For "zero nail gun experience" Andy. Never put your off hand anywhere near the length of the nail from the tip of the gun (31:06). Nail gun nails are much more likely to bend than regular nails. If they hit a knot they can literally turn 90 degrees and come out the side of the wood. I learned this the hard way. Drove a nail through two fingers of my off hand with one shot. Thankfully it was only through the fleshy parts but still a painful way to learn about nail guns.

Unless you’re doing it for exercise. Splitting wood is kinda fun. Two years worth of firewood really is not very much wood. So no it’s not worth it.

For toenailing cut a scrap piece of lumber the distance between the studs. When setting the stud up lay the board on the plate press the stud up against the board. On cutting this board you cut it one thickness of your studs. In your 24" centers minus 1.5" is 22.5".

hi guys, love watching your vids from Australia, just pondering about the t section seal you used is there a particular name for it - as all i can find here is a plain t without the extra ribbing seals? Suggestion with drill is set the clutch so it will still drill, however, it wont damage you should it grab like it did. It seems compulsory almost to have some blood split on most projects, glad it wasn’t worse! Cheers, Ian

I think you’re breathing too much silica. You really need your mask ! Grinding concrete not good. What you don’t see will hurt you. But great job also.

You mentioned you were watching KZbin videos when you were laying out your sill plates for your J Bolts. The same channel you watched has good videos for framing doors and windows. Makes the project flow easier and better production methods. Love watching your posts, and the fun you bring to the screen.

Wonderful, but gloves man - gloves gloves gloves - I got lines on my arm from sheet metal that skipped up my glove and then went right through my fireproof gear over my arms. Since sheet metal is also a wonderful place that tetanus likes to just hang out at, they must serve free beer or something - it's doubly annoying ....
