Superb cover of a sadly overlooked song. \begin{rant} This, and "Open Door", should have been on "Duke" - except that would have made the album too long from high quality. And I guess it would have made the album "too prog"? Don't get me started on which songs could have been omitted to make room - leaving out priceless gems for flimsy reasons is a time honoured tradition, the peak of which was the absence of "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Penny Lane" from "Sgt Pepper" due to the "singles don't go on albums" edict. At least George Martin agreed that this was "the biggest mistake of [his] professional life"... \end{rant}

I don't get why a lot of people (not here, but in other online evaluations of the album) tend to sleight this song. I get that the lyrics are maybe a bit silly, or at least the story they tell (I don't mind), but musically this is up there with some of their top prog pieces. Well, those that aren't all over the place with time signatures. I wonder if anyone who has an issue with the subject also criticize Tull's similar animal stories from Heavy Horses from about the same time, like The Mouse Police Never Sleeps(also about cats and mice), Rover and so on?

my own band is myself !! no I don't have time to build a band, it would be with great pleasure of course, but in France, composition doesn't bring food into the fridge... but check my channel if you haven't, there are three songs of my own : Par exemple (hand-drawn by my wife), Ends, and Keeping up with the Joneses, the first is on my first album, the two others will be on my soon to come album !
