Schools and jails are very similar for a reason and the school to prison pipeline is a real thing not just in the UK but in the US as well. Most jails are privately owned and like every business they have a quota to fill. Lets also mention that in some jails its a slavery loophole...let me exhale (pun intended)

No but seriously real talk you don’t know who’s behind the screen, people are bored and weird you just cannot be that trusting! Good talk on it though👌🏾understandable and makes sense. It would be good if dating apps vetting people so you know nobody on there is pretending and they are verified as who they say they are.

The problem with the music and cinema comparison is films, series, sitcoms etc people tend to watch once, music people will hear over and over. Repetition dictates certain actions, thoughts and behaviours. Music has an impact no doubt especially on young and impressionable minds.

I completely understand where your coming from especially when it comes to those who have impressionable minds, however films, series etc are also repeated whether someone watches something once or not there is bound to be another movie that has various similarities. People tend to bash music but don’t have the same energy for the rest of the entertainment industry which I don’t really think is fair, and as RA said, people will watch a movie and see Denzel for example playing the role of a murderer, however off camera we know that’s not his character at all. It’s all about prospective I suppose.

@@exhalethepodcastuk7718 I agree the entertainment industry in general is from Satan! There's more harm than good from that industry. Still though music has more influence generally on people than Hollywood.

@GmartSuy very well articulated opinion which I fully agree with. It's not all about the rap or music industry cos I see many including myself who grew up listening to the late 80s/90s gangster rap. Alhumdulilah i did not get influenced to the point I followed or tried to emulate their lyrics or actions. Generally though it does influence many souls the wrong way. What many men miss is the struggles and destruction caused by gangs, drugs and violence. The biggest problem is the lack of contemplation before making or taking action.
