Hi Bruce. Thanks for the interview. Could you please provide a comparison between success and cruel treatment of animals? Are these subjects unrelated, or do they influence each other in some way?

Ms. Kelly Valade. My name is,Teresa. I ate at your restaurant in North Las Vegas, Nevada Storr 9937. It was my third time eating there.I waited a year to go back. I love Dennys and this is the closet to my house. The service was extremely lousy😢 You may have an inexperience Manager trying to train a lot of young experience staff. She was there today and did nothing to organize or improve the poor service. I work almost 16 hour days in California. My home is Vegas I arrived in Vegas about 2 a.m. because I had a Dr . Appointment and a furniture delivery starting at 11am. Finally done with all about 1:30, I decided to go to Dennis for breakfast. It was a total disaster. The restaurant was packed so I knew I would have to wait patiently, which I did I ordered a regular grand slam because I never have time for breakfast. When I finally received my food the pancakes were cold the butter would not melt on them. So they only took them back. The eggs and sausage was luke warm. HUNGRY AND TIRED, I settled on eating them There were supposed to be two stripes of bacon stripes and two sausages. One bacon was curled in a ball and the other two very little and thin strips was a little thin half a piece of what looked like a torn piece off a piece of a bacon😮 The young girl I called and explained to ask me if I wanted another piece of bacon after looking at my plate. 20 minutes or more after I finished my luke warm eggs and meat, my pancakes arrive, this time hot it by now I finished my meal. So I ordered Salmon and rice and broccoli and rice for me to eat gor dinner later and twochicken fried steak dinners with mash pototaes and broccoli for my neighbors mom snd aunt who are 88 and 93 giving them the benefit that things were messed up based on it being busy. But when i got up to pay hardly anyone was in the restaurant. At the counter I checked my bag and my rice was missing and they said I had ordered potatoes. I said no and the brought the young boy I had ordered from. He opened the trays took one country, steak off one country steak off my tray that was in the other bag for my neighbors and put it over a broccoli tray, and put my own brocceli I asked where was the potatos for the chicken fried steaks. The girl said here was one. It was packaged in my bag with the salmon. I asked where the other was, and they said under the tray. Thinking yhings were fixed, i psid for the entire meal, tipped and left. When I got to my neighbors 10 min from restaurant. Food was luke warm, potatoes was missing, there was only one container in the bag, and nothing but broccoli under the tray. I called a female named Jacqeline said she would get the Manager. She came back and said the manager left 230 pm. That was a lie because she delayed me paying my bill because she was trying to teach two young males, one being my server, how to punch out at 2:59 pm. Finally, she told him, my initial server, to punch my bill out. I paid with for the meals over $60 for cold and subpar made and missing food becasuse all the brocceli was cold. The chicken fried steak was slopped with so much gravy the ladies thought it was the potatos. For a manager Yvonne, (Jacqueline said she did not know her last name) to avoid addressing the issue is poor management. Furthermore, she told me she had.no corporate number to give me so I needed to call back in the morning as"she is supposed" be in. I asked if she could call me, and she said no call in the morning she should be in 😮 I want to speak. to someone in corporate. Please help me get this resolved. Teresa

What a beautiful blessing it was to listen to this podcast. Personally, my takeaways were: "drive to excellence not perfection", "it's not the landing, it's the journey" and "storytelling is lifechanging." As a first-generation college student, I feel the pressure to finish my education to immediately land a financially secure job. However, this beautiful woman as reminded me that God is truly in control. I want to fulfill my purpose in Him through everything I do wherever I end up. Thank you for posting this!

I loved the podcast! There were a ton of great points that I think would apply in everyone's career and life journeys. The topic of resilence and that there is nothing you cant accomplish as long as you are willing to put the work in. I love that point and feel like so many people overlook the work that needs to go in to be successful. Next, would be your inclusion of divine intervention and how that plays a role, but your work does as well! I also, loved your quote that you are driven to excellence but not perfection. As we cannot complete perfection, but we can surely strive for excellence. Lastly, would be how one job can lead to another I think it is so vital to not get stuck down in the gutter while wanting to switch jobs, because those jobs are setting you up for the next step in life. It is all apart of the plan!

Incredible podcast! So many great points. "Its not the landing, its the journey" is such an important mindset. It is vital to have faith that success will come your way and that God has you on the right path all the time, so when you are unsatisfied in the present moment, you know that unpleasantness will give way to something great. That mindset helps you live in the moment without sacrificing long term goals. I appreciate you sharing your story and giving encouragement to all of us. You are an incredible educator and that carries serious weight because I feel we are in an age where where the standard of education is dropping.
