First time burner, this video was really helpful in setting out all the safety elements and practical elements that I’d perhaps have taken for granted otherwise. Thank you for your time and effort in sharing this and setting it all out so clearly

Great information thank you. Very helpful as I have made myself a hot composter but I am not getting the heat, it only runs at about 20c. I will try putting grass cuttings in to see if that helps. Once again thank you

Very informative video. Thank you for all the details. I didn't realize you could harvest every month. Mine went to flower and looks like it is more than one plant. I'll divide it in the fall since I've missed the early spring date. It's way too hot. Thanks for posting.

I really liked your video. I planted 2 young crowns in mid spring, theyre both growing well. I love rhubarb too...I want compote and pies. I dont understand why no one out there makes or sells plain rhubarb pies. They always add strawberries and I do NOT enjoy that at all. So, I'll make my own. :) I learned alot from this video, so glad I watched it. listening to you explain everything was enjoyable, calming, clear and concise. Thankyou.

I like your video, Liam. Thank you for sharing. My rhubarb is from an old variety which is, small but very flavorful, and it is likely a cultivar put in place on our family farm about 200 years ago. Glad to preserve this botanical treasure. 😊😊

My grandma planted some years ago and it just pops up at random every year but all the leaves fell off like 4 months after they showed up and the bulbs are surrounded by many small to medium bulbs all over?

Hi. I have a similar compost bin that you are showing and the bottom opening to remove compost is not opening. It seems jammed shut. Any suggestions in how to open it without putting too much force on it that it could break the plastic handle? This is the first time that I will be removing the compost since putting it all together and filling it. Has this ever happened to you or anyone reading this? How to open? Suggestions? Thank you.

Well done. I was thinking of doing something like this for keeping garden bugs off my cucumbers & tomatoes- then I heard you say allowing for pollinators. I was like, wait.. they got to get in. Lol. Great job here.

Used your tips to set up my incinerator today. Worked like a charm! Once it gets properly going, it really does just annihilate everything you throw at it. Very satisfying.

Nicely explained. I envy you some of the sandiness of your soil - would be happy to exchange a flat-bed load with some of our heavy clay and we'd both end up with improved structure! On our clay (Bristol) there's not a chance that I could push the blunt trowel-handle into the untouched soil - it settles too hard. And if I did force it, the compaction would create a little pond for the clove to rot in. So instead I have to cultivate to the depth I'm planting to and then part the soil with a sharp implement in order to plant the cloves. Congratulations on your good results.

Thanks for a great video, I planted my first ever espalier apple two years ago and it has been doing really well, however I was dismayed recently when I investigated some leaf curl and found a bad infestation of aphids. At the same time I found an ant colony at the base of the trunk, so your explanation has been eureka moment. I have subscribed to your channel and would like to thank you again for a no nonsense comprehensive explanation.

I grow E.G. in permanent spots, usually the south side of a fence or tree. I harvest the plants that bloom and leave the others in the ground. When I harvest a mature plant I stick the little brown bulblets back in the hole. These bulblets will grow into an immature plant next year and a mature plant that blooms in the second growing season. I mulch the spot when the plants are below the ground. I am in a warmer climate so I don't know it this method will work for you. I can grow E.G. in the same spots for years, I got my E.G. from a friend who had it growing unattended, under trees and fences, in his yard from a previous owner, so its origin is unknown but over 50years old. You might try to experiment in a spot or two.
